Just read on Facebook what I already knew from here, that a family has decided to leave in two days. The spiritual battle can be fierce at times. They are heading back to the states.
Thank You for the encouragement found in the Psalms A J posts. Your word has new meaning for Your children each time we partake of it. Your word is our daily bread, life sustaining and spititually nourishing. We taste and know it is good. It is the best. Increase our desire to share it with a spiritually hungry world.
Lord, I lift up Donna’s friend, N. She is struggling through hard days and nights. She is weary and tired. Please give her something to feel good about today. A bit of good news, a caring thought on a card, a phone call to encourage, just something, Lord, to lift her spirits.
Abba, I ask Your blessings to be upon 6 Arrows as she prepares again for a performance. Help her in balancing all that she juggles daily. May the homeschooling go well as they try new approaches. Please let there be harmony in the learning process. May she be able to teach up to the higher level yet meet the needs of the younger ones with analogies that they can understand on their level. What a challenge, Lord, but with Your help all things are possible. May this be their besy homeschool year ever. Also, Lord, I pray for Annms to be encouraged with progress in all subjects, especially in math. May Becca’s attitude blossom with smiles and joy as she gains confidence in tackling math problems. Help her to grasp new concepts quickly. Please open her mind to the fun that math can be.
I lift up The Gambia and all of Africa as Ebola continues on the move on that continent. Please, Lord, may it be contained. I saw the dreaded projections on the news, and without Your intervention many will die. Help them, Lord. Please provide a new way to halt the disease. You have an arsenal of weapons against disease that intrudes upon the bodies of Your creation. Please make known quickly how to eradicate Ebola. Save lives that can be Your followers giving You glory. Please help the staff there in The Gambia as they are few in number and stretched thin. May they be multiplied in Your miraculous ways to meet more demands than thought possible.
Please continue blessing Jo and her compound eith safety. Please give Jo peace and good rest. Help her to stay healthy. Bless those she cares about back in the States.
Lord, please relieve Kim of the symptoms from the crud. Give her immune system a punch to strengthen it against the assault from the virus. Thank You for the care Mr. P is showing her through his help and provision. Bless them with all they are involved with according to Your plans.
Hillary made all her flights. Still waiting on the “welcome to Sicily” photo on FB, but her last post had her boarding the plane on time in Amsterdam. Thanks for your prayers.
Husband flies home tonight. I am going to go pick him up. Leaving children at home and with the neighbor. Prayers that my absence will not be used unwisely. And for husband’s flight. Thanks.
Husband called as they prepare to board his flight. He forgot his meds back in the apartment and will be in lots of pain if we cannot convince the local doc to prescribe them and we can pick them up in the big town. whew. If it is not one thing, it is another…. thanks.
Hillary is safe in Catania. Only one piece of luggage didn’t make it, but elsewhere everything went well. Next flight isn’t until tomorrow, but she’ll manage. Thanks for your prayers.
Thank You for traveling mercies all over the globe. Especially, keep idaho Mike and Sicily Hillary safe as they travel please work out details where the enemy tries to cause glitches. You know every need before it occurs.
Lord, keep the Nest functioning at its best while the mainstays have to be away for a short time. I ask a hedge of protection be around all there and also around M & M as they travel the roads.
L9rd, continue Your great act of healing upon my friend, Karen, as she recouperates from her surgery. Help her pain to quickly subside. Please give her strength to do what must be done.
Lord, I also lift up the CLI dinner tomorrow evening. Thank You for each participant. May the program go according to Your best plan. Please give good meetings, divine appointments, touched hearts, and even salvation to those in need of that. May the fundraising aspect be well received and bring in an abundance of resources to help with ministry needs. Thanking You in advance for Your wonderful provision because I know You delight in caring for prisoners and giving them the truth and light. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen
