Prayer Requests 9-22-14

Anyone have a request or praise that they’d like to share?

Psalm 84

¹How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.

Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

  1. Heavenly Father,

You are the author of transformation and change yet You are unchanging. The depth of Your abilities knows no end. The height of Your achievements knows no limit. I praise You along with my friends here.

Lord, God, I lift up my Sister in Christ, Jo. You know what troubles her heart. You know the unrest that is afflicting so many parts of the world right now. You know the pure hatred that spews out of those being used by Your enemy to bring hurt, torture and despair in the lands of Your making. You did not intend for this in the beginning. I pray You will keep Jo safe from any form of harm. Keep her heart beating in a peaceful rhythm under Your wings of protection. Keep evil far, far away from her. You are able, Abba, as the Biggest Daddy to protect and to guide Your children out of hharm’s way. I ask that You would bless Jo’s whole compound in that manner. Please, Abba. I ask in the precious name, Jesus, for His name has the power and force to cause bad to change to good for those who believe and are called by Him. Amen

  2. Please pray for my friend, Karen, who is scheduled for knee surgery at 9:30 EST this morning. Thank you.

Also, there are many people praying for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel at 9:00 a.m. each day in case you feel led to join in those prayers.

  3. I survived a hectic weekend.

Hillary’s last day–more craziness to finish packing followed by a prayer meeting for her tonight, my house.

    Rain promised Wednesday–hopeful and thankful.
