I prayed a strange prayer this morning. Without thinking, it came out. Then I wondered.
There is a young childless couple that is close to me. She has had two miscarriages. While
praying for them, as I always do. I happened to say, “and Lord, if there’s a child you have written in your book of life, send it to them….”
Later, I thought, “What a strange thing?” Yet, not so strange, is it?
kBells – Have you tried Sykes Home Jobs (Powered by Alpine Access)? I’ve heard it from a reliable source that this is a legit company, on the up-&-up, providing customer service for various companies.
BTW the health problems I mentioned in an earlier prayer request are not serious or life-threatening, just inconveniently expensive. It just occurred to me that I ought to mention that.
🙂
kBells – Believe me, I understand the “inconveniently expensive” matter.
Have you talked to the doctor’s office or clinic or hospital (whichever ones apply) to arrange a payment plan or ask for financial assistance? Most will cut about 40% off your bill if you are self-pay. (Unfortunately, if it is the deductible from your insurance that is the problem, they won’t cut that, but I think they will still help with a payment plan.)
Let me know if my Alpine Access suggestion pans out (or not) for you.
Karen, although our rates, deductible and prescription medicine all did go up, the biggy has been Hubby’s cpap machine, that and the kid’s emergency room visit for a basketball accident. (tip; avoid the hospital emergency room go to an urgent care clinic.)
Flying home today, feeling relaxed. Daughter in air to Barcelona.

Sounds like a Holy Spirit-inspired prayer, Chas. And Amen to it!
