That was well said, Michelle. I had to bring out the scripture several times last night as I laid in bed and began to worry. It is so easy to do and so easy to help each other do!
Thank You for Your little divine touches upon this world at just the right time and in just the right way to touch the hearts of believers with encouragement. Thank You that Your word is available 24/7 whenever troubles seem to mount up and be magnified in our brains. We can always count on You to take us from point A to point C (a better place) through the troubles found at point B. You have just done this for Kim. I praise You for giving her and Mr. P this house that can easily accommodate their furniture with minor effort. Such a wonderful God You are.
Thank You for giving wisdom to Mumsee and Mike for decision times which are frequent in the Nest. Please bless Mike as he travels again. Help him to feel Your hand guiding him into good situations that will benefit the future of the Nest.
Please continue to be strong for N in her times of weakness. May she realize she can lean or fall toward You and You will uphold her. You are there to bear her burden.
Lord, help me to make the right decisions concerning how You want me to serve in and out of the church. There are many varied opportunities. I want to do that which is most important to You. Open the eyes of my heart to discern between good and best according to my skills and gifting.
Lord please help my husband as he continues to struggle through this year with corporate deadline and personal extensions almost due.
Thanks for listening, Lord. You are the rock on which we stand. In Jesus’ name, Amen
Okay, we are home from taking him to the airport. Four hours to get there, five and a half to get home. It was just me with three youngest so we took some scenic hikes along the way. It is one hundred miles along wilderness and through National Forest so it is quite scenic. We hiked about four miles in three separate hikes so it was a good break up of the drive. It was amazingly peaceful. The children did not say more than five sentences in the car the entire way. No radio, no television, no movies, no video games. Just children quietly looking out of the windows. That is with two autistic and one younger sister. Amazing. Thanks for praying.
Tomorrow is the next court date for E & R. This one is to fine-tune the custody agreement, & to determine how much R needs to pay for child support. (Did I mention that, after several months of being unemployed, R finally got a job recently?)
Please pray that all will go smoothly, God will give E favor in the judge’s eyes, & R will not throw a wrench into the works in any way. Thank you.
