Strange rash, apparently they are contagious through the internet. May be shingles. It does not itch but I do hurt. It may be related to the hornet stings last week. I don’t know and don’t really have the ease of running to the doctor so I am taking it very easy, sleeping a lot, taking pain medication, and using a heating pad for aches and pains. Prayer for things to continue rolling along safely in my relaxation. Thanks.
Prayer for my irritability today. I don’t know if I’m just overly tired or what, but I’m struggling with my attitude today. And since I slept in, the day has only just begun! Yikes.
Prayers appreciated as I am doing Chapel in the morning. We can’t practice or get ready much because we have MAP testing in the computer lab first thing. Guess I’d better get things organized in my thoughts and notes at least.

Please continue to pray about the job I have applied for. I know it would be a good fit, but they suggested it would be a step down for me. I see it as a step up, less stressful work and in a ministry I care about.
KarenO, yes I did. I think perhaps the ‘shocked’ look on my face clued them in, but I told them anyways. 🙂 I was quite worried this morning about the job, but husband sat down and prayed with me and then the songs and the message this morning were, of course, perfect. For whichever way things go. God is good. All the time.
Oh and Tim is feeling a bit better today. He was actually able to sleep on his side last night (well, early this morning), made it to church with me and is now puttering outside.
As you all know, I have asked prayer for Lee a few times, & have been worried about him. But in the midst of this trial. God has drawn Lee closer to Him, & has been dealing with him about his attitude & such. We are both so grateful. God does not leave us alone to suffer or stew in our trials, but we need to turn to Him in the midst of those trials, & listen for His counsel.
Some of you may remember that almost four years ago, R’s aunt (his mother’s sister, & only sibling) hanged herself. I have been thinking that all this publicity about Robin Williams must be stirring up very painful memories in R’s Mom & Grandmother. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will draw them into God’s salvation & comfort. Thank you.
Prayers again for my friend C who is having to go back to the hospital from her rehab place. Something’s leaking, basically, from a spot where it’s not supposed to be leaking from.
Pray that this won’t require another extensive surgery of any kind, her body’s been through a lot lately. 😦 😦
