I lift up Annms and her family for a safe trip back home. I think that happens today. It has been rather rainy lately so I hope that will not cause any flight problems. Help them to feel okay about flying. With the news lately it might cause a little anxiety for those traveling by air.
Lord, I pray for 6 Arrows as she is again trying to discern, along with her husband, what to do regarding taking on piano students. Also, please help my former Sunday school co-worker who has this week moved to another community and needs to establish herself with piano students. It is a gifting to be able to teach musical skills to children. Please help these two ladies in their needs.
I ask that Your blessing be upon the hardworking husband of 6 Arrows and also upon Karen O’s husband and Mumsee’s Mike. Please help them to remain healthy and strong as they have long work hours and sometimes or all the time exhausting work. You know the needs of each, Lord. Please hold them up and provide for their families in other ways if possible to lighten their heavy loads.
I lift up Ree and her family to You, Lord. Please bless her daughter as she engages in her college far from home. Bless the son who I remember had struggles perhaps with substance abuse. I pray he is better by now. I have not heard. Please bless Ree’s relationship with her husband. May he at some point become a believer as she is.
Thank You, Lord, for Kare’s new cats. I ask that You will guide her to know what to do to get the cats and dog stabilized as friendly creatures and not feeling like territorial threats to each other. Please do not let the dog go into attack mode and harm the kitties. It is a big worry presently. Please let it all turn out for good.
Thank You for all You are doing in the world today. Especially I ask that You would bless Israel with peaceful relations with enemy factors. May the peace be forced by You if necessary. You have Your supernatural ways of conflict resolution. No one but You knows what You can do.
Prayers for my friend N from church, after several months of tests it looks like the doctors think she has lymphoma. She’s in her 80s and sounds to be in good spirits (just hung up after an hourlong talk). But it’s a lot to absorb with plenty of doctors appointments ahead.
This evening I was reminded again of how far my daughters have strayed, & my heart is aching for them to come back to their Savior.
Please pray for my beloved daughters, that God would open their eyes, soften their hearts, awaken their spirits, & bring them back to Him. I sometimes ask that Good Shepherd Jesus would bring my grown-up ewe lambs back into His fold.
Your eyes are like a hundred million non-stop flights around the earth checking out what is going on in the lives of Your children daily, only, we can’t see Your eyes. The believers know You are watching, caring, planning and acting even when we can’t see You. We turn our cares over to You for You have us covered.
I pray today for Kim who continues to struggle during this season of unknown. Help her to be strong and courageous when she considers unknown outcomes. Bless her in her waiting time with Your goodness evident in her life. Help her to weigh the good and the bad and know that the good far outweighs the bad.
I lift up Melvin whose brother unexpectedly landed in intensive care with a tumor. Please, Lord, help that family and the brother to deal with whatever must be done. Thank You for the faith exhibed by Melvin and his wife. They trust You with their prayers.
Please help Karen O and Lee with their major concerns about the spiritual condition of their daughters. They are rightfully concerned and want to see positive change that only the Holy Spirit can initiate. Please make it sooner rather than later, Father God. The twists and turns of life without You and Jesus seem so treacherous and dangerous. Why must people wait so long to see salvation of their loved ones they constantly lift up to You? Please hurry, Lord.
Please help Donna’s friend, N, during this time of dealing with lymphoma. You know just the right touches of encouragement to see her through. Bless her doctors with wisdom to do what needs doing to give her the best quality of life for the longest time.
I ask for traveling mercies for Idaho Mike who is also Canadian Mike lately. I pray all will go well for him as he continues in his current employment and has to be so distant from Mumsee. May their relationship thrive despite the distance as they share stories of their daily lives with each other. May their reunions be sweet and their love for each other know no boundaries.
Karen, your daughters are regularly on my heart for prayer, as are several other concerns here. I feel comforted when I realized how lost I was at one time. It makes me realized that others are not so far gone that He cannot reach them.
