Please pray for peace in PNG and a peaceful resolution of conflicts. A nationwide strike has been called for beginning in an hour calling for the Prime Minister to resign. We have a lot of folks traveling this week through the capital of Port Moresby. There is no other way to go. Pray that this can be resolved peacefully as it could escalate.
Thank You for the beauty found in one simple flower like the one AJ posted for today. You figured our the science needed to make that flower plant to sprout and grow on earth. That feat alone is worthy of great praise. Help us never to take for granted what appears simple but is quite complex behind the scenes.
Lord, per Jo’s request I lift up PNG and the volatility of the government and the desire to oust the PM. You know the full story of what is happening and what needs to happen to align with Your will and kingdom building here on earth. Please rescue any who are stranded by.the unrest. I ask for a peaceful resolution.
Please, Lord, help Jo along as she meets up with her future students. I ask that the upcoming class would be her best yet. May she be readily prepared to meet any challenges brought into her world by the new students/families and the physical environment. Give her vision of how to anticipate problems and work tjem out before escalation.

Praise: tension in family fully resolved. It seems both “sides” were looking at different things and weren’t seeing what the other side was seeing. Once both understood each other, everything was OK between them.
