Thank You for the beautiful flowers on the blog today. You put delight into our days in so many ways. Thank You that that the carr only needed an oil change and not a costly repair.
Lord, thank You that Mumsee and Mike have had time together. Please bless them as they continue to provide for needy children. I ask that the young man returning to the household will be compliant with house rules. I also ask that You would replace any lingering rebelliousness or contrariness with a compliant and thankful attituxe. May he even surprise himself as he contols his actions and fits well within his family. Do not let his mind return to imprper perceptions and finding ways to put his wants above the needs of others living under the same roof. Please inspire him to greatness after he has been in the depths of consequences of breaking from the way You would have him to live. Thank You for meeting this need.
Also, I lift up Michelle as she is torn between family activities and working on her book. Help her to effectively compartmentalize according to Your priorities for her. Give her Your peace that passes understanding. I ask that she be given little words, thoughts and hints of affirmations so she feels Your abiding love for her. Please show her Your delight in her project. I pray in Jesus’name, Amen
Prayers appreciated for my rash to go away as it has gotten worse. It is all over my forehead and now on both eyelids and covering my neck. I have some meds that I could use, but am allergic to so much that I hesitate to use them. I realized this week that I tend to react to medicines and so am quitting the fish oil that I was taking and one other. It is quite possible that is the cause. Please pray for relief and a halt to the spread of the rash.
Jo, I have “icky” skin and I find that almond oil doesn’t bother me. Perhaps you can get some and use it. I have also wrapped my legs in tea towels soaked in ice water. It helps. You have my sympathy and prayers
Thank You for portable fans that make a warm evening much more pleasant while saving on the energy bill. Not only that, but the sound of a fan is very comforting. Now I hear the train rolling by on the tracks behind the homes across the street in one ear and I hear the fan in my other ear. Both sounds from childhood. Interesting to think, Abba, how my childhood home was so near the train tracks like this thirty year home has been. How many people have passed by on their way to somewhere and right now I realize when I heard the trains I should have been praying that they were all at some point headed to heaven.
Lord, I know my Sister in Christ, Jo, is eventually headed for heaven. Thank You for that assurance. Now she has another concern I ask Your help with. She has a persistent rash that is spreading and bringing much discomfort. Please give her relief this day. Help her to find soothing treatments. Please let there be nothing extra needed to make the rash go away. Give her Your supernarural healing that strengthens. You know
all Jo’s needs. Please keep her in your besy care. In Jesus’ name, Amen
