  1. 😦 Every time I look for my glasses they’re somewhere else.
Somebody breaks into the house during the night and moves them.

We, Lions had a nice excursion to the Storehouse yesterday. They marched about 3/4 mile pushing wheelbarrows filled with over 550 # of food which the Storehouse distributes to needy families. We got a tour of the place. It helps to have a city commissioner in your club. The police escorted the troop marching down 7th avenue and stopped traffic for the short parade.

I didn’t march. I drove my truck down to load the empty wheelbarrows to take back to the parking lot. Overall, a nice day.

  2. 🙂 A great trip away with my family last weekend into the first part of this week.

🙂 The snow has all melted from our yard.

🙂 After two weeks of being sick (yes, overlapping our vacation) and on antibiotics, my husband is better.

😦 Except for last weekend, which was limited by my husband’s incomplete recovery, we haven’t been outside for a long walk or anything of the sort in weeks.

:/ We have signs of spring, and I’m itching to get out (and get out with my new camera!).

  3. 🙂 Weekends.

😦 A top-level shakeup in our newspaper chain with several prominent editorial execs on the east coast now gone. Hard to say what it’ll all mean, but the speculation by analysts is that some of the newspaper groups (we’re part of the LA metro cluster) will now be proactively pushed for sale over the next several months. Which could be good. Or it could be bad. We often think things can’t ever get any worse in our business. But then they always do. 😦 So, to be continued …

  5. 🙂 Bought a car this week!
🙂 Got a lot for my trade-in and got a fairly low mileage car for just $400 or so dollars more than I wanted to spend.
🙂 God put it on someone’s heart to make up that difference!
🙂 Was getting advice about GPS purchase and someone offered me their old one. Done deal. I can update maps and be good to go.

🙂 Fun watching my grandson be a pigeon. We also had fun playing with the other grandchildren and watching one at soccer practice. He was excited we could do that.

🙂 Fun seeing the play, which was written by their father. There were seven different plays written and directed by locals. All of them were based on something about their town. We really enjoyed them all and learned some, too. Some of the plays were things everyone could identify with. One was how it felt to be autistic. The play was written by the mother of a boy who is autistic. It was well written and well acted.

🙂 We also went to a children’s symphony presentation and a history museum with two sets of grandchildren. It was all fun.
