Prayer Requests 3-27-14

Anyone have a request or praise they’d like to share?

And it’s Thursday, so let’s remember Jo and the folks in PNG.

Psalm 63

¹O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

  1. Heavenly Father,

You are our God from Whom we receive a multitude of blessings and benefits. First You give life not only once, but for believers, You give life twice, and perhaps even what might seem a third time when we get our resurrected bodies to live eternally with You in the New Heaven and Earth. You give us awesome promises for a good future. Thank You!

I lift up our missionary friend and blog companion, Jo, todayalong with other missionaries working in PNG. Jo is traveling off the compound. Please give divine protection from anything that might try to. hinder safe travels. I pray she will have relaxation and rejuvenation during the trip. May she develop new and closer friendship with those in the traveling group.

I pray for effective outreach in PNG. If any there are involved with translation work, I pray Your moment by moment guidace through the tedious aspects so the translation is fine-tuned to speak Your word as intended.

Thank You for gifting Jo will skills and abilities to work with children. May she also have an over abundance of patience.

Thank You for the joy ee experience from hearing what all is happening in Jo’s life. Especially I thank You for her new grandchild.

Please keep Jo in Your good care and feeling Your favor all the days of her life. Help her to be a strong Godly influence in the lives of all the children she teaches. Please give her supplies for all her teaching projects and dreams for learning activities. Keep her faithful and with others who will alwayz be encouraging to her. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen
