The new day begins with songs from birds You created. You designed their vocal abilities and planned the notes each type of bird is able to produce. The details of Your creation are astonishing when I consider them. Thank You for this time to pause and think on You.
Thank You for all those who worked diligently in The Gambia withl the goal of repairing homes damaged during the rainy season. Thank You for neighbors far and near helping neighbors to restore and rebuild when desperate situation are present. Thank You for those who spend time and resources helping others instead of focusing on themselves.
Please bless Ajisuan as she goes about her day. May she feel peacefulness, contentment, and a resting of her soul in Jesus. Give her physical energy for the doings of this day. I ask that she would have encounters today that allow her to share the love of Jesus. Please provide well for her needs of this day. Increase her faith. Bless her family so she need not worry over their well-being. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen
Insomnia tonight (again). I’ve also been having trouble with my emotions lately — have frequently been in tears the last 3-4 days. I suspect an herbal supplement I started taking a few weeks ago may be the culprit, even though I started and have continued at the very lowest dosage to ease into it. I don’t think I want to take it anymore — the problem for which I took it (and which it helped immensely) is not nearly as unpleasant as the crying episodes.
Prayers for wisdom in gradually weaning myself from it.
