Prayer Requests 3-13-14

Anyone have a request or praise to share with us today?

Psalm 48

¹Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.

They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.

Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.

We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

10 According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

11 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.

13 Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.

14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

  1. Prayers requested:
    For my niece Hannah
For Hubby and I (we had a big fight night before last and there are still hurt feelings).
For my sister and her husband for wisdom in dealing with my niece.

Janice: thank you for the eloquent prayers you post. I find them to be a great encouragement.

  2. Very sorry to hear that, Roscuro. Praying for your sister and her husband — and does she have other children at home? Also prayers for you and your whole family during this time.

  3. Praying with you, Phos.

Husband has been granted admission to Canada so should be on a plane there Sunday. Not much time to get ready but we have been working towards that, with dragging feet. So, the prayer now is that his arthritis will continue to cooperate, his focus will come together for his job and taking care of us long distance, and wisdom and perseverance for me as I deal with ten “special needs” children. They are labeled that and they did have lots of issues. Now they are just really wonderful children with a few issues. Okay, then there is the twelve year old but he will be okay and I have lots of older children to help with him over the coming year and a half. Thanks.

  4. Those were not baby teeth. He will have difficulty getting used to that, unless they were wisdom teeth. In my experience wisdom teeth were harder to get over, but easier to do without.
    I’ll pray about it.

  5. They were baby teeth, they were blocking the molars from coming in. As mentioned, folks with nutritional deficiencies in early childhood have odd problems. His sister still has her baby teeth and no adult teeth to come in.
