Many people are ill in our land with the very contagious stomach virus. People are feeling so sick either as they are down themselves or as they are having to clean up from others sickness. I pray especially for Annms and her family. You know where their family is in the cycling around of the virus. Please, if possible, hold the virus off of Ann so she can help others suffer through it. It is hard to see any benefit to illness like this, but may families draw close to one another in helpfulness and encouragement as they are there for each other. May this be a time of full appreciation of what loving families are about. You made this way for us to do life best. Thank You. Please, again I ask for You to take good care of Annms and her family and also Mumsee’s Nest family. Wellness for all, soon, please.
Yesterday as we drove past a church camp, I said to my husband: “I would love to work at Camp Kadesh” Today I got a call from one of the young moms whose husband works there asking me to come and help out. Turns out I’m “only” watching her kids so she can do one of the activities for a group that’s coming in but… Maybe it will be a foot in the door for me.
Kare, if you plan some fun activities for her children then they will see your abilities and hopefully open up doors for you to do more. Sounds like you got a divine calling!

It’s only a 20 minute drive from our place – I would want to work in the administration area and probably only part time – pretty specific, but God can open doors.
Prayer for husband and some of the older children. They are off to pick up the firewood that was stolen from my dad’s property last fall. The sheriff finally called us to tell us to pick it up from the home of the perpetrator today. Husband was given the wrong address by the deputy and now that he has found the correct address, there is nobody home so he is trying to contact the sheriff office again to get some sort of backup/ approval to go ahead with the repossession. I suspect he is armed, but don’t know it. He does have a conceal carry permit. And we have no idea of the mindset of the guy who stole the wood. Could have been simply a mindless thing or it could be his regular business to steal wood and sell it. A lot of that goes on around here. Thanks.
Well, husband and company are on the way home without the wood. The sheriff office has no record of contacting him to get the wood, though they are supposed to have contacted us last fall. We probably erased the message from our machine. So they are looking into it and we will wait some more.
Please pray for Middle Son. He is having a difficult time. Mr P has contacted a former Chaplain in the Marines. The former chaplain has contacted the son. Not much we can do from here.
R was supposed to be served with the court papers yesterday, with the court date having been set for March 17. But he hasn’t been served yet, which means the court date will have to be reset (papers have to be served at least two weeks prior to the court date).
Please pray the marshal is able to serve the papers tomorrow, & that everything else flows smoothly.
Also to say a prayer about – R will have F tomorrow night into Thursday. The agreement R & E came up with was for him to have F stay over on the two nights E has classes. (Last night was her first night of classes, but he couldn’t pick F up, so I babysat.)
