Prayer Requests 2-12-14

Anyone have a request or praise they’d like to share?

And don’t be like me and forget Gambia. Again.

Psalm 20

¹The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.

6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

9 Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.

  1. Please pray for all of us in the ice/snow storm. Safety, warmth, provision in times of trouble, quick repair of broken power lines…news just said it is turning into an ice rink, so pray no one will get out and have a fall. Please pray for communication to continue between family members. Thank you for praying.

  2. I would like to ask for prayer for my mother, her name is Rose. She was taken by squad to the emergency ward after passing out this morning. She had tingling/burning in her hands and arms prior to passing out. She started new medication yesterday, but they don’t know if it’s related. They’re running tests and will probably admit her. Thanks.

    Brother-in-law’s got a new knee, no complications; son has a bad cold and is a little daunted at the new job, but doing okay. Rosanna–is awake! Still has pneumonia, but is able to talk with family for the first time in, I think, three weeks.

    Thanks for the prayers. Thank you, God.

  9. Emily just posted on Facebook that she’s watching the Ken Ham/Bill Nye debate online. Please pray that the Holy Spirit would quicken God’s truth to her spirit, & that He would give her the wisdom & courage to acknowledge His truth.

    (I commented on her post that not all Christians believe in Young Earth Creationism as Ken Ham does, but believe in Old Earth Creationism instead. I included a link to Reasons/org, which addressed the debate.)
