9 From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.

12 Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
13 Arise, O Lord, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:
14 From men which are thy hand, O Lord, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

Eldest daughter, L., will be taking a three hour placement test for her future high school today from 1:30 to 4:30 CST. Prayers for confidence would be much appreciated. The tests are used to determine if she should be in regular classes or honor/pre-AP classes–so, they’re fairly important. Thanks!
Rosanna has been in the ICU for two weeks on a ventilator–complications of the flu that went to pneumonia. Her family has been with her round the clock in Spokane; flu is gone, but pneumonia lingers. She’s been in an induced coma all this time. Everyone else in the ICU with the same symptoms has died.
She’s my daughter-in-law’s mother-in-law’s 40-something year-old sister. Her oxygen numbers are looking good and they’re optimistic, but asking for prayer.
The quiet silence of the evening is so peaceful. Thank You for letting Your children know peace. Lord, I pray for all the competitors in the Olympics to do their best when it is their time to display their skills to the world. Keep them all in Your good care, free from accidents and any form of injury. Please halt any acts of terrorism. Thank You for letting Yourself be glorified by allowing these atheletes to show off what Your creation is able to perfdct with practice in the physical realm. I pray for much spiritual fruit to be harvested in Russia as evangelistic teams are trying to have divine encounters at the games.
Lord, I pray for those. who have need of physical healing and freedom from aches and pains who have been mentioned on the blog lately. I lift up Mumsee and Mike, AJ, Mr.P, Rosanna and others. Jesus is the divine supernatural healer. I ask for His intervention this evening upon these lives and infirmities.
Please be with all the ladies at the retreat with Kim. May each one experience a deeper felt presence of the Holy Spirit and may new bonds of Christian friendship be formed.
I ask this evening for a special blessing upon all thd children of this group of blog followers. Please help thode who may have gotten off track and failed to recognize Jesus as Lord. DrW thsm to Jesus in an irresistible way, please. I ask that You would keep them each in Your good care providing Chfistian friendships and experiences to bolster their faith. Please remove stumbling blocks and various forms of dvil that try to distract them from You. Thank Yoh for Your promises to xo good for those who believe. And thank You fof being the God who wants all to be saved and therefore gives second and third and more chances to get right with You and Jesus. I pray in his name, Amen

Heavenly Father,
