Who has a request or praise for us today?
Psalm 46
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

Wandering Views 
I tried to post this the other night but it disappeared. Lately I have become frantic that something bad is going to happen to Baby Girl. I stop myself from completely invisioning it when it starts and I start my litany of “Please, God, no. Please don’t let anything happen to my baby”.
I just want the thoughts to go away.

Kim – I used to have graphic dreams of finding Chrissy drowned to death when she was a baby. Finally, I realized that this was a kind of torment, & God may warn us or prepare us, but He does not torment us. So I asked God that if there were anything I needed to know or do that He would make that clear, & if not, to please make the dreams stop.
I never had another one of those dreams. (And Chrissy loves swimming, wouldn’t you know.)
>Father God, please bring peace & calm to Kim’s heart & mind. If there is anything she needs to do, please make your direction clear & plain to her. Help her to release BG into Your hands & Your will, & envelop Kim in the peace that transcends understanding.
We also pray for a hedge of protection around BG, especially in a spiritual sense. Please do a mighty, wonderful work in the heart & spirit of this beloved daughter.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for hearing the prayers of Karen O and others for Kim and her daughter. With all the awful things that we hear about in the world it is easy for mothers to grow reasonably concerned for their child’s welfare. Please help Kim to put safety measures in place that You bring to mind and to know she has done her best to ward off evil and disasters. Please let Kim have peaceful rest in You as she hands the burden of her distress to Jesus Who is always ready to carry the loads that are too much for our feeble bodies and minds. You are our strength when we are weak. If these thoughts of harm and disaster are brought on by spiritual warfare I pray You will quickly put up a defense against the arrows of the evil one that are directed to Kim. May she find Bible verses to repeat that will counter reoccuring thoughts of distress. Your word is truth. It can be counted on. May it come to the rescue for Kim and anyone else here who struggles similarily.
Lord, sometimes I struggle with finding time to be in Your presence as much as I would like. Help me to always find ways to arrange my schedule so that You take first place. It has been a while since I have done a Bible Study workbook and I miss that. I miss digging deep in Your word. Help me to get back to that, Lord. I ask that You would help others here who want to draw closer to You to have the time, to make the time, to fit more of You into their lives.
Please bless AJ with a happy birthday. I pray you are helping him with any pain that continues in his body. Give him a good catch of fish today with good weather to enjoy the fishing. Bless his whole family with enjoyment of his special day.

Kim H, it is also possible that it is a hormonal thing. As you may recall, Dil had a serious time of that a few months after my second grandson was born and ended up hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital until they could get the paranoia under control medicinally. She is fine now. But she was imagining her children and husband being killed. She is pregnant again, though they went into it with some trepidation as son does not want to relive that time. But being careful that she gets plenty of sleep. The hormone she was missing was the sleep hormone.
