Psalm 95
1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
Wandering Views 
Prayers requested for discernment for my sister and niece. Niece was accepted to Wheaton, her first choice school. But, as you are aware, she’s been having difficulty with her emotions and she’d be very far from her support system in Illinois.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this day to rejoice and be glad in. Help us daily to think of ways to make a joyful noise unto You. Help us to be pleasing in Your sight with all our actions and words so that we might reflect Your love into this needy world.
Lord, I lift up Michelle to You for healing of the soreness from her fall. May any bruising go away quickly and may her soreness and stiffness be eased away. Please help her to get extra rest while on this retreat. I ask that she be given discernment as to what classes to attend to get the greatest benefit. May she have divine appointments that could only be arranged by You for Your glory. Help her to feel Your presence in the midst of the group of Christian authors. Please give her safety in all her travels.
Lord, I lift up annms’s sister and niece as they make decisions about the neice’s opportunity to attend Wheaton. Thank You that she had what was required for admission into Wheaton. Thank You for Christian college options. I pray for discernment for the family as they consider that support is only a phone call or text away. Now Skype is an option, too. You have given us such advanced ways to be in touch with loved ones. Please bolster this family with faith and trust in You and Your provision. You know best what will work out to meet the young lady’s needs and be within Your will for her life. Please reveal Your perfect path. Give her peace about her transition.
Lord, I continue to give thanks for the blessing of the offering of the position at Baylor for our son. Thank You, thank You! All along I have prayed that he would be in colleges where he could have spiritual growth and You have continued to provide. There is none like You.
Lord, as the Easter season is here I pray for safety for our nation. I pray for many to hear the words spoken in Easter sermons that will touch their hearts in ways they have not known before. Please draw many to You this season of new growth and rebirth. Our nation has been ill for a long time now. Please help us to get well through the application of Your healing balm. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen

Last night I wanted to crawl in a hole and die…this HOA mess is so ugly…people can be so cruel and mean….and over chickens…and covenant violations….really?

Isn’t perspecitve a marvelous concept? Last December my son and I had some (minor) hurt feelings over how our trash was bagged up (sounds so silly to say it). We “kissed and made up” and I said, “You know, there are 20 families in Connecticut who are crying over something REAL right now and here we are upset about some trash. Shame on us.”
