Prayer Requests 3-16-13

Who can we pray for today?

Please keep commenter Random/ModestyPress in mind today as he recovers at home from a TIE (transient ischemic attack) aka a “mini-stroke” that he had yesterday.

Psalm 67

1 God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.

2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.

3 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.

4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.

5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.

6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.

7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

  1. Update: Praise Report!!!! Katie’s finger tip has reattached and has circulation, sensation, and a a beautiful pink color!! The doctor was pleasantly surprised, as she was certain that she would be scheduling surgery for Tuesday. Katie has a cast covering the tips of her fingers to her elbow. Follow up in 3 weeks. Thank you so much for the prayers. It made all the difference. God is good all the time!

  2. A lot of times, people will be so adamant against God most of their lives, and when it becomes obvious they need Him, they refuse as too many people have heard them say He does not exist. But He is always there, ready to make them new, in His time.

  3. He posted this around 1:30 am this morning.

“Not to long after I posted this morning, I had a TIE (transient ischemic attack, aka a “mini-stroke.” Spent the day at the hospital, having the usual fun experiences one does at a hospital. I am home with a prescription for the next drug up from aspirin and instructions to call my regular doctor on Monday. If and when I get a REAL stroke, I call 911 so I can get to the hospital in the “golden three hours.” when treatment is likely to do the most good and the least harm.”
