Prayer Requests 3-11-13

Who can we pray for today?

A friend of our family and member of our church named Jennifer is in need of prayer. The prayer request is for her mother, Cynthia. She is starting treatment for a stage 2, isolated tumor on Mon, March 11. The beginning and end of treatment will have chemotherapy. She will have 7 weeks of radiation, 5 days a week. The prognosis is good, but as you all know, cancer and treatment for it can be very scary for the person with it, as well as their family.

If you could please keep Cynthia and her family in mind and in your prayers over the coming weeks, it would be most appreciated.

Psalm 34:1-8

1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

²My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

³O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

⁴I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

We have a five hour drive today. Please pray for a safe journey and for good fellowship on the way. As always, your prayers are greatly appreciated!

Ambulance at the neighbor’s house. An elderly couple, one paralyzed on one side live there. I’m a little worried about them.

My birthday Stargazer ruptured a tendon playing rugby over the weekend and refuses to see the doctor. Could you pray he either feels convicted to go, or heals quickly? Unhappy mama today, though we were delighted with him 26 years ago! 🙂

The fourteen year old has purchased a Bible for his older bio brother who is in prison for knifing his girlfriend or some such thing. He has spent the majority of the past six years in detention of some sort. Anyway, prayer of blessing on the younger boy and prayer of an open heart for the older boy. God does amazing work at changing lives.

6 arrows, She was on the gurney and looked conscience. No word yet. My uncle lives across the street and knows everything that goes on around here. I’ll talk to him tomorrow.
