  1. Georgia S. has a doctor’s appointment at 2:00 EST today. Georgia has cancer and the doctors say the treatments have stopped working. I told her I would ask the blog to pray for her.
She has been battling cancer for a long time, but it has been in remission.

  2. Trying some new things with the Kid. Praying they help. Hubby has shingles. Mama still needs constant supervision, but we have a plan. Nephew’s crohns disease is in remission, so is David’s cancer.
    Will pray for Georgia.

  3. Prayer for Troy and Jodi as well as for Daniela. She was once the leader of the atheist group at her university in Brazil, but asked God to show her the Truth. He did and now she is a believer, dealing with the people who knew her before.

  4. Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the goodness and kindness You have sprinkled throughout our days. Help us to notice those things more carefully and pay less attention to the little aggravations of the day. Thank You for giving our son safe travels to visit with his friends over the weekend and to return today. Please give my husband safe travels home from the office this evening.

Father God, there are so many people who are in complex family situations. Many have been mentioned here. I pray again for You to reach down into each situation and turn the hearts toward You. Help those who have gone astray to be reclaimed through Your efforts to reach out to the lost. For each person who passes through this prayer website, I pray for their loved ones and acquaintenances whom they know are unsaved that You would bring a special veil of blessing into their lives that they would have a new outlook on life. Keep them looking at the world with new vision so that they see You as a part of their world. Help them to recognize You at work in their lives. Engage them with Jesus. Please, Lord, for none of us know when the final hour on earth will be for each person. We want to see all those around us saved from the disaster of disbelief in Jesus.

I pray for Your divine help with Georgia’s cancer. Make a way for it to go away again only this time for good. Show her doctors the next step to bring recovery. Help her to know Your peace in the time of waiting for the new effective treatment. Help her to be a faithful witness of trusting in You no matter what. Help her to sing and make a joyful noise to You whenever she starts to feel defeated by her disease. May she never forget the benefit of Your love and comfort through all difficulties.

Please bless the new ideas and trial changes that Kbells is making with her son. Give a special insight to this mom and dad who want so badly to help their son to better behavior. Make a way for this new approach to have positive outcomes. So much of parenting is based on trial and error and correction and showing loving concern no matter what the behavior might be. Please give mercy to all parents who are trying their best to be what You would want them to be but the obstacles seem too great to surmount. Give them Your strength and resolve when they feel weak and worn out by the emotional battering of noncompliant children. I pray for patience that transcends the less desirable behaviors until the children to go over to the loving behavior that can come after a stormy tantrum. May children know that they are loved even when parents see them at their worst. May parents have stamina, and wisdom to not take things too personally when anger erupts in their child. I pray for Your peace to settle into households that are experiencing such turmoil between parents and children this evening. Please restore a loving atomosphere that includes You at the center.

Thank You, Lord, for helping Kbells husband with the pain from shingles. Give him quick healing and reduction in the symptoms and effects from the shingles. Help him to receive and use any medications or solutions that would reduce the effects of that condition. Help the others Kbells mentioned with continuing on their paths to recovery from what ails them.

We keep praying for the marriage of Troy and Jodi who need to submit to You first and then to each other as loving spouses. May they each be thinking of some special something they can do for each other for this Valentine’s week. Help them to be creative and thoughtful with ideas that could only be thought of through Your guidance. Give them follow through on any prompts they feel from You. Also, I pray for Your dear daughter, Daniela, who once was lost but now is found. Show her how to glorify You while in the midst of unbelievers. Help her to show love when she is rejected for Your sake. Bless her in spectacular ways so people will look upon her and think without a doubt that her new found faith is worthy of their seeking out what it might mean for them personally. May she know Your love in such an abundant way that she will not feel overwhelmed by the loss of friendship or even family members over her new faith in Jesus. May Jesus stand in as her new best friend even as He is so much more than just a best friend.

Thank You for taking time to again hear my concerns. I know You will be working things out for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. May the numbers of those blessed people increase daily and include those mentioned above.

In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
