Who can we pray for today?
Psalm 117
1 Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples.
2 For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
Praise the Lord.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your word that speaks into troubled hearts and gives comfort and turns despair into trusting in Your care.
Lord, I lift up Kim to You today for a blessing that would help her in her struggle to know how to handle the conflict of needy people in her life. You know the range of feelings and the depth of need. Please make a way through this time of testing and trial for Kim and her family. She does not doubt Your love for her, but sometimes the opinions of others around her are sounding louder than the still, small voice. I pray You will show Yourself in a persistent and unavoidable way so that she feels bolstered by Your felt presence. Please Lord, touch her and all those who are concerning her with Your love today. Please give BG a feeling of peace today.
Lord, I also ask Your blessing to be upon my family as the big crunch is about to begin with tax season in full swing. I am not feeling quite as well as in past years so I ask for greater energy to help me through the long days and nights. I ask that You would show direction to my son as he tries to piece together what he is to do between now and graduate school. He misses his friends at school during this difficult time of waiting and wondering what will come next. Help me to always say the right thing to be an encouragement. And , Lord, it is over a year since my brother lost his employment. I keep asking for You to supply his need. Nothing has happened yet, so I continue to ask. We wait on You and Your supply. You are our Provider and we are thankful for what we are given.
So many are in need of prayer today. Please bless all those here on this site daily with Your open ears hearing all our prayers whether silent or written.
Thank You for the beauty of spring like weather in January in Atlanta.
The jonquils are bringing a fresh brightness into our winter. You are so good and loving and worthy of praise and glory for Who You are. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

Please pray for a woman named Phylis. She is a new friend on fb (a relative) who is quite upset with my pro-life stance. She has suffered much abuse and had an abortion. She was brought up with an atheist and now believes a form of pantheism from what I can gather. Pray for her to soften in her rebellion to God, to have ears to hear. Pray for me to speak the truth in love and to have the best words possible. I am sure many of you will know even better ways to pray for us both. I soooo appreciate it!

Heavenly Father, I pray for Kathaleena’s friend and relative, Phylis, who is lacking in understanding of who You are to her. She has managed to get herself out on a limb with another type of god who can give no real support. Please help her to see You and fall into Your loving care when the bough breaks for her. I pray she will gain understanding of the sin involved in abortion and to realize Jesus died on the cross to cover her sin. Please help her to see that she is not being judged by a friend who wants to tell her good news of new life. May she understand the hope of seeing her child in heaven one day should she become a believer. May she trust in the goodness of God to help turn her away from the darkness that she is soaking in and look into the pure light and love of Jesus Christ. Please, Lord, show Yourself mighty in the life of Phylis. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen

Please pray for Eva, the Mormon young lady I mentioned yesterday whom I witnessed to online. She seems to be very cheerful and enthusiastic, and has responded in like manner to our conversation thus far (both before I witnessed to her and afterwards).
She is quite rooted, though, in the LDS belief that the Book of Mormon, in her words, “holds equal status with the Bible, as we consider both to be God’s word”.
Thank you for your prayers.
