Who can we pray for today?
Psalm 121
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Bless America,
Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her

From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, My home sweet home.
Father, I pray we might be a nation You can bless, and if that requires that we be brought to our knees before You, what better place to be. Grant us tender hearts that can be receptive to Your Spirit. Grant us teachable minds that can be guided by Your Wisdom. And grant us courage and boldness, that having done all, we may indeed stand firm as a testimony to Your great love and mercy.

Pray for my friend Carol who has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, that the doctors will find a good treatment and that she will be able to follow directions in taking better care of herself.
And (again) for my attitude at work, things remain stressful, some days are like an emotional roller coaster and I’m allowing myself to become way too (visibly) irritated by it all.

My daughter’s bank did not do her wages direct deposit correctly. Please pray that it is fixed quickly as she lives, more or less, from pay cheque to pay cheque.
