Who can we pray for today?

Tomorrow is Sunday, a work day for our Pastors. Let’s make sure we remember them today.

Psalm 95:1-3

1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

  1. An update on Madison, the baby girl (10 months old) with Down Syndrome & its related heart & intestinal issues…

    “Madison is over the viral pneumonia. We have increased her feeds slightly how ever she is still not getting enough to grow and gain. She is just maintaining.

    Her feet, lower legs and hands have been turning smurf blue this week and she looses sensation. It lasts until you can massage then to get the blood flowing again! Not a pleasant sight!

    Cardiology cleared her and we have an appointment next couple of weeks and pediatrician said as long as her lips and trunk aren’t blue she should be fine. No explanation why this all of a sudden would occur.”

  2. Local Pastor killed his wife, wounded his daughter, then tried to kill himself. People I know who went to the church believe it may have been caused by a head trauma he was recovering from.

  3. There are two of you who have met my baby girl in person . There are lots of you here who have prayed for her and for me the past few years . We are experiencing more trouble with her . This time is a lot more serious . Luckily Mr P was home yesterday and dealt with it until George could get here . I was the last to arrive . A boy entered my house not through the front door . A neighbor thought my house was being burgled . The police found beer in the boys truck . George has started the Mr P fan club and has instructed me to “keep that man” Aside from that I need to ask you to pray that God will enter my child’s heart, show her the path she is choosing and change her fir the better .

  4. Kim, my prayer for her is that the Lord would protect her and keep her from making a serious mistake.
    It’s so easy to do at that age.
    You have almost no control over who she chooses for friends. But that is the important thing.
    Mr P seems to be a winner. Maybe he has raised some girls???

  6. Oh dear Kim…I’m feeling the turmoil with you…have walked the path and will be praying continually for you all. I always told Abigail she was the one the Lord gave to us to make certain we were kept on our knees. I am so thankful Mr P has a keen sense of discernment…thankful the Lord brought him into your lives…yours and BG….I pray one day…real soon..she will see our Lord’s vision for her life ahead…and that vision not including said truck drivin’, beer totin’ boy who likes doors other than the front one…

  7. Kim, then he will likely confirm this.
    She needs to be very careful about her reputation. Aside from the pleasure of the sexual conquest, the next most important thing to most guys is bragging to his buddies about it.
    Sometimes the most important. And they aren’t above making up things.

  8. Update from Liam’s mom: ” Liam had a good today. As of today the Dr. Was feeling optimistic about sending him to Vancouver.”
    He needs to go to Vancouver for surgery on his pancreas and he needs to be stable to fly. Please continue to pray for this precious baby.

    Teagan’s favourite auntie passed away this morning. Teagan is having a very hard time with it. We had a heart to heart and she said “I guess you’re my favourite auntie now” I told her that Auntie Lorraine could still be her favourite auntie, she’d just be in heaven and I’d be here. Lorraine was an amazing woman and I’d gladly be second favourite behind her

    Please pray for Teagan and her family, they are exhausted by the pain of loss they are feeling.

  10. It is too late here to post a lengthy prayer tonight, but I did pray for each request as I read them. Heavy duty concerns for this evening. May tomorrow be a better day for all.

  11. I am about over my bout with the whatever. A deep chest cough and a huge desire for sleep followed by some nose issues with a headache. Now one of the fifteen year old sons has a fever and sinus pain and other similar symptoms. But not the cough I had. Hope he does not get it, at the same time, hoping it is not yet another illness. Prayers for comfort for him and quick healing. He seems to be a lot more prone to illness and getting it worse than the rest.

    Therefore I am home with him and three of the younger ones.

  14. Got a tip on a possible job opening. Daycare worker, not in my field but it’s the first thing I’ve seen in a long while with the hours I need. I’m going to give it my best shot and then put in the hands of God.
