As said here numerous times, the fraud was not dealt with by MN officials who should have dealt with it until the Feds stepped in and public pressure was put to bear. We will not get the money back. The governor and Dems are trying to put in place things that will make it easier for them to continue it. It didn’t just cost MN citizens, but all of you, except Hwessli, of course. The threats against those who tried to expose the fraud is the worst thing, IMO. The lack of press coverage for all of this is disgusting, but not surprising sadly.
The lobster and steak go back many administrations, and it was not just for the top brass. I don’t think anyone here would argue that there is much waste in government, including in the military. That is just one argument for smaller government and government closer to the citizens when possible.
