Good afternoon. We are back in summer mode as we head into fall, but without much humidity.
Last night I went to a ladies’ game night with about fifteen ladies from my church. I had never attended one of these events before. We played Family Feud after splitting into teams. My team won big, but with no help from me.
I carried Tostito Scoops and two types of hummus, dill pickle and spicy red pepper. The dill pickle hummus was good, FYI
What type group games do you play, if you go to events like this at church? I think they are looking for more ideas.
I don’t usually like games but Pictionary is a fun one. Lots of giggles and laughs trying to guess someone else’s art!
Visited my sweet friend and stayed five hours. Her caregiver was there (they will be kept on for a week to settle her in). She is not doing well in the facility. As I was leaving to get her something to eat…vanilla milk shake, key lime pie and vegetarian lasagna…my other friend was coming in. This is the hard of life and I cry every time I come home. I worry about her care or lack thereof…I worry about her safety, her comfort and I never want her to feel alone. Giving these concerns to our Lord for He is good and I am oh so weak…

We took a short road trip this morning, about 35 miles to the closest Trader Joe’s.
They have pumpkin everything. 🎃
