““The Founding Fathers wrote explicitly that any immigrant must “absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty.””

Halleluiah! AJ has finally written something that we can ALL agree about unequivocally (as I see this sentiment is ‘liked’ by Tychicus and NJ as well). I have been saying this for years. I think we would be shocked if we knew how many split loyalties there actually are in our government—both unofficially and even officially in the form of dual citizenships:

    1) Elon Musk is the citizen of 3 countries—USA, SA and UK if I remember correctly

    2) A.Vindman, the “whistleblower” in Trump’s first administration responsible for kicking off his 1st impeachment, is a dual citizen of Ukraine

    3) Tiffany Trump’s father in law, Massad Fares Boulos, is a senior advisor to the President. He is said to be a devout Christian (God bless him) but he has 4 citizenships : Lebanon, Nigeria, France, and USA

    4) And then of course, there’s Israeli dual citizens. God only knows how many thousands there are here—some in positions of influence.

One person, one citizenship. See, the ‘brain rot’ is not complete on either side. We can agree together on some things. :–)

  2. Decency, justice, and the rule of law demand consequences.

“Devin Nunes explains the damage that was done by the criminals involved in the Grand Conspiracy.

“People have died. People have lost their livelihoods. People have lost their careers. People have not been promoted. Families have been destroyed. Finances have been wiped out. Millions of Americans were kicked off social media. News networks were not allowed onto the legacy media platforms.

This damage is far and wide and has been ongoing for a long time.

So Nixon is not even a drop in the bucket to what is this kind of two or three dozens criminals in and around the Clinton operation, the DNC & Obama’s operation – and Biden’s operation for that matter – have been doing now for over a decade.”

This is why our country cannot move forward until we see accountability.”

    • This is probably a little like the Epstein issue in that there are things that need to be brought to light if possible in order to vindicate those who were damaged. And I can readily believe there were real damages.

However, like the Epstein case, I have minimal interest in the details unless there is something new that is strikingly significant. The country doesn’t need another dog and pony show. We need wisdom.

    • I had read just tiny bit about this. It reminded me of some of the news here that Palantir might be gathering such a database for us. I know almost nothing about this issue. and that’s probably because it is truly too scary for me to dig into at the moment. But I am interested if anyone has links or knows any more. It’s not smart to bury my head in the sand forever. :–/

  3. And once again NTers will stare at their feet and pretend this is normal. And they’ll not utter a peep in protest to this trash.

It’s not, it’s as un-American as it gets.

“Outrageous: Biden administration bank regulators forced JPMorgan and Bank of America to debank Trump over Jan. 6 or face harassment, ⁦@CGasparino⁩ writes. They did the same to Melania and Barron Trump.”

    • Yeah. It looks like the photographer was passing the pics off as something else. There is still no reason to believe that the hunger in Gaza is not real.. However, people who use false pictures or stats for their own purposes damage the cause of alleviating the very real suffering.

  4. This is from our local propagandized news 9 station in Denver…don’t you love it when they use”potentially” or other such nonsense to push their own conspiracy notions. And if one face checks even left leaning Snopes debunks the assertion… but of course the piece referenced is from the Times

DENVER — The Trump administration has awarded Denver-based AI data technology company Palantir more than $100 million in government spending to organize and analyze data, opening the door for the Trump administration to potentially create a master database of personal information, The New York Times reports

    • The Snopes article is long and quite good. It seems that Palantir is basically making the same claim as Microsoft which provides the software for Israel’s Azure data collection project: namely, they are doing nothing illegal and “they” don’t have the data. This may be true in the case of Palantir according to Snopes, as Palantir is providing the software to enable the government to connect the databases together.

“…Snopes found the social media claim that Palantir was creating a master database of all U.S. citizens was an exaggerated version of the New York Times article’s headline, which oversimplified the situation.

…..However, Foundry [Palantir software] is reportedly used in the department that maintains databases on health, and if DOGE’s work at the IRS is fully implemented, it could also be used to connect tax data and immigration data.

As for social security, in June, the U.S. Supreme Court issued two unsigned rulings allowing DOGE to access Social Security data and shield records from a watchdog organization. Whether or not Social Security data has been moved to Foundry is unknown….”

      Also according to Snopes:

“The New York Times article never accused Palantir of breaking the law. Social media users replied to the company’s statement pointing out that the word “unlawfully” could be doing a lot of heavy lifting, implying that Palantir was collecting data to surveil Americans legally.

Based on our research, this claim isn’t true, because Palantir isn’t the one collecting or storing the data — rather, the U.S. government is doing so. Furthermore, Palantir isn’t the one attempting to compile or centralize that data — that’s DOGE.

Palantir’s response described their role as follows: “Our business is to provide our customers with the software capabilities to use their data effectively and in accordance to their legitimate mandates.”
Assuming this is true, Palantir itself is not building any master database, as social media posts claimed. However, its powerful data tools could easily be used to construct such a database. The company acknowledged as much in its response….”

  5. NJ — there was no need to say the secondary clause; the fact a private company has been awarded a contract to collect, organize and anlayze data for the gov’t is bad enough on its own. Palantir is very active in Israel/Palestine and wants to sell that “expertise” to other governments. Strangely I have a libertarian friend who has invested heavily in Palantir — when I pointed out the contradiction to his political ideas, he said it was a good investment and Canada wouldn’t use it (he also regularly wipes his devices etc). I think he’s naive and has lost his sense of connection to other people.

My daughter went to Georgia (the country) just as the election was disputed and riots broke out. She was invited to an exhibit on art and migration. Since her visit, the new regime there has brought in Chinese experts and technology to monitor Tblisi.

Its coming to the US ( and maybe Canada) and whether you think it won’t affect you or you trust the present regime, things may change.

  6. Ha! I trust the present administration far more than the actual regime of the past four years! Do I believe there should be a list and investigation of those in our country subverting our laws and constitution? You bet ya!

    • Lol. That’s naive and simplistic in my view, and on some level you know it is, NJ or you wouldn’t be (rightly) concerned about using your name here. There are bad actors in and out of government. And giving the government more power to surveille the population at large is insanely irresponsible.

      smh
