“DNI Tulsi Gabbard has just declassified documents that show “overwhelming evidence” that then President Barack Obama personally requested, and intentionally “manufactured and politicized intelligence” to create the narrative that Russia was attempting to influence the 2016 presidential election in President Trump’s favor, despite intel assessments concluding that Russia was NOT trying to influence the election.

It was all a giant HOAX.

Well done DNI Tulsi Gabbard for leading the charge on transparency and accountability.

    Let’s investigate and prosecute.”

“Incredible. The first draft of the BS cooked intelligence document that launched Russiagate said Russia “did not impact US election results,” but that didn’t fit the narrative they needed, so the second draft changed the conclusion to say Russia did interfere.%

“TRUMP’S ALLEGED EPSTEIN BDAY LETTER: The Wall Street Journal reporter who broke the “blockbuster” story alleging a letter Trump wrote to Epstein for his 50th birthday included some tawdry elements previously worked for Main Justice (his only prior reporting experience listed in his bio).

Main Justice was Glenn Simpson’s wife’s publication. Simpson founded Fusion GPS, which was paid by Hillary Clinton/the DNC (through Perkins Coie) to produce the Steele Dossier at the center of the Russian hoax against Trump.

Both Glenn Simpson and his wife, Mary Jacoby, worked for the Wall Street Journal before launching their own enterprises.

Trump is now suing the Wall Street Journal over the “blockbuster” letter story, arguing that it’s bogus and they never showed him it so he could comment.”

  3. And there are those who still maintain Biden won the election after this mess?? Delusional …

Steve Bannon:  Let me read this. The press release, new evidence of Obama administration’s conspiracy to subvert President Trump’s 2016 victory and presidency, Washington, DC. Today’s date, Friday.

This is from the Director of National Intelligence. Tulsi Gabbard revealed overwhelming evidence that demonstrates how after President Trump won the 2016 election against Hilary Clinton, President Obama and his National Security cabinet members manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a year’s long coup against President Trump.

This is from the Director of National Intelligence, that language.

  5. “And here it is — all in black and white:

Adam Schiff conspired with CIA Director John Brennan to overthrow the United States government in 2016, and then, right out of a small room in Langley, covertly conspired with CIA Director Mike Pompeo to overthrow the sitting President of the United States, @realDonaldTrump, in 2017,

and conspired with CIA Director Gina Haspel, OCCRP, and USAID to topple the United States government in 2019 via Impeachment Hoax Number One.

[ An Obama holdover? My ass

It was CIA Director Gina Haspel, who planted Eric Ciaramella, President Trump’s phone call with Zelenskyy occurred on July 25, 2019. What kind of Obama holdover is this—nearly two and a half year into Trump’s presidency?]

@shellenberger “It’s a crazy story — The House of Representatives impeached, President Trump in December of 2019. Many people may may not remember that it was a CIA analyst who was left over from the Obama White House who wrote the memo that led to the impeachment. It was all based on hearsay. The person had not actually been in the room with Trump.

Nonetheless, this memo that he wrote relied heavily on a report done by an organization funded by USAID. In fact, its initial founding funding I mean, now it’s $10s of millions of dollars had gone into this group called the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, a name that’s not very memorable, OCCRP, but it was basically created as an extension of the state department and then of USAID.”

In other words, the CIA attempted to overthrow the U.S. government in 2016, attempted to overthrow the sitting president in 2019, and succeeded in 2020 — all funded by USAID through the extortion of the American taxpayer.

DNI Tulsi Gabbard: “No matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The integrity of our democratic republic depends on it.

We are turning over all documents to the DOJ for criminal referral.”

  7. And back to my earlier remark, it’s ok not to have an immediate opinion on many things right now as we live in such a crazy information environment; we all have personal ‘opinions’ but it often takes a while for information to sort itself out; social media one-sided sites like X have knee-jerk opinions that I may or may not “like” but that doesn’t — at all — mean they’re true. And after we do our own checking, we still may not come to a firm conclusion.

These are really awful times in so many ways, we have “information” overload and definitely knee-jerk “opinion” overload. I don’t think we’re better off for it. 😦 Sigh.

I pretty much despise X and what it’s done to our discourse. There are still some thoughtful voices on that site, and I do seek those out and follow them, love that some are still “there.” I ignore the shouters and extremists of all stripes intentionally, everywhere I can.

  10. Wow; I was wondering how the Trump side of the internet would address the Epstein stories and now we have it; there’s a squirrel. The Russia hoax — nice time to drop some news on a ten year story.

The WSJ story is unnecessary to connect Trump to Epstein. Trump and Epstein were friends for over a decade, they partied together, Trump was on the passenger manifest for Epstein’s plane seven times, Trump acknowledged in an interview that Epstein liked young girls and so did he, Trump bragged about walking into teen girls dressing rooms at a beauty pagent, and the list goes on. Its been over a decade since these allegations were first raised and its been self evident to me ever since that Trump along with other rich older men were involved with Epstein — Prince Andrew, Clinton, Bannon, Lawrence Summers and probably a lot more. Elite rich men from business, politics, media and academia.

I mostly ignored the story before since my right wing conspiracy theory friends had tied it to Qanon and Pizzagate both of which lowered the credibility of the Epstein files being anything more than a bunch of rich old perverts. However, now both the right and left are tying the Epstein story to Israel, Gaza, Iran and how much influence Israel has on American foreign policy. Its unusual to see a conspiracy theory embraced by both sides so it will be interesting to see if the story continues to have legs. And quite frankly its a more credible theory

Given the people known to be in the files, it might remain suppressed but I doubt yelling Russia hoax will be enough to distract people. And nor will releasing “pertinent” files. Will the story die or will it continue to drag through the summer……

The Epstein scandal isn’t going away and Trump has handled it poorly. But then again the left will accuse deflection just to dismiss treasonous actions of their own….interesting how that works…

  12. Yes, Epstein is definitely a “squirrel” moment for the President. I have no personal interest in the case and definitely don’t want to be exposed to the raunchy details. BUT I think getting justice for the many victims is important enough for it to be a national issue. Even if it’s very embarrassing for the President. I have pretty much given up hope that perpetrators will really be held to account before they stand before our Maker, but I’m glad it is not being allowed to die out completely until there is some kind of resolution for victims in the here and now.

  14. With gavel in hand, Trump chisels away at the power of a compliant Congress

WASHINGTON (AP) — “Mr. President, this is the gavel used to enact the ‘big, beautiful bill,’” House Speaker Mike Johnson. said at a White House signing ceremony on the Fourth of July.

“I want you to have it,” he said.

Handing over the gavel delighted President Donald Trump who, seated behind a desk outdoors, immediately tested it out with a few quick thumps.

The moment left a memorable mark on a historic day. The gesture reflected a traditional nod of honor, from one leader to another, a milestone of the Republican Party’s priority legislation becoming law. But the imagery also underscored a symbolic transfer of political power, from Capitol Hill to the White House as a compliant Congress is ceding more and more of its prerogative to the presidency.

Since Trump’s return to the White House  in January, and particularly in the past few weeks, Republicans in control of the House and Senate have shown an unusual willingness to give the president of their party what he wants, regardless of the potential risk to themselves, their constituents and Congress itself. … ~

  16. Ah yes, the Epstein embarrassment/debacle.

The odd thing is that “the letter” strikes me as little more than a shoulder shrug.

As has been pointed out here and elsewhere, Trump and Epstein were ‘wink’ buddies for many years, hung out together in some circles with the ladies, on planes, at parties.

Trump’s known character — his attitude and practice regarding women and fidelity — has been no secret. Yet he is the man we elected to the highest office in the land. Maybe we should not be so surprised by any of this?

Politics in the U.S. has sunk to a sad state but so have we too often as those who try to discuss these matters.

So perhaps this thread as part of a Christian blog would benefit by more careful discussion (and occasional apologies) when any of us swear, personally attack, or step over the line with one another? Something to consider (again) maybe.

Believers should not sound like the shouting world around us in discussing these issues. We may have differing opinions but still be able to discuss calmly and respectfully. I think/hope?

  30. Still waiting for our President to put an end to this war or at least stop funding it.

“The Israeli military has issued evacuation orders for a crowded part of central Gaza where it has not launched a ground offensive during its 21 months of war against Hamas.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Sunday that residents and displaced Palestinians sheltering in the city of Deir al-Balah should evacuate immediately and move towards al-Mawasi on the Mediterranean coast.

The evacuation demand, which could signal an imminent attack, has caused widespread panic among tens of thousands of Palestinians, as well as the families of Israeli hostages who fear their relatives are being held in the city.

The IDF has conducted air strikes in the area, but it has not yet deployed ground troops.

On Sunday, the Israeli military dropped leaflets from the sky ordering people in several districts in southwest Deir al-Balah to leave their homes and head further south.

“The (Israeli) Defense Forces continues to operate with great force to destroy the enemy’s capabilities and terrorist infrastructure in the area,” the military said, adding that it had not yet entered these districts during the war.

The affected neighbourhoods of Deir al-Balah are crowded with displaced people living in tents.

Israeli sources told Reuters news agency that the reason the army has stayed out of these districts so far is because they suspect Hamas might be holding hostages there.

At least 20 of the remaining 50 hostages in captivity in Gaza are believed to still be alive.

Most of the Strip’s population of more than two million people have been displaced at least once during Israel’s war with Hamas, with repeated Israeli evacuation calls covering large parts of the territory.

The new evacuation orders came as health officials at Gaza City’s Shifa Hospital said more than 40 people were killed and dozens injured by Israeli fire as crowds gathered to await the entry of UN aid lorries on Sunday morning.

Hospitals in the south said more people were also killed at aid points there.

The BBC has contacted the Israeli military to ask for a response.

On Sunday, Pope Leo XIV called for an “immediate end to the barbarity of the war” and urged against “indiscriminate use of force”.

His comments came days after a deadly Israeli strike hit Gaza’s only Catholic Church, which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country deeply regretted.

Meanwhile, the UN has said civilians are starving in Gaza and called for an urgent influx of essential goods…..

At that moment, I remember thinking: why would the media be attacking me for discovering an intelligence oversight violation? Shouldn’t the media be focused on those who illegally used the IC to target a political opponent?

As time went on, and more information was discovered, it became clear that the media’s reaction (on behalf of their co-conspirators) was an attempt to stop me and others from discovering more of the iceberg ie the full extent of the plot to take down President Trump. As I’ve asked before, has there ever been a president in US history who has done as much as President Trump has in terms of serving not special interests, but rather the interests of the American people (esp. with policies that truly reflect a Christian worldview)? Has there ever been a president in US history who has done as well as President Trump in terms of keeping his campaign promises?

Yet there are those here who insist on attacking him, including with the old sleaze and innuendos. You may not like his personality, but I just don’t get it. A few here can’t even seem to put the word ‘President’ next to the name ‘Trump’. Wow.

    • The President is a mixed bag and I would certainly not describe his policies as reflecting a Christian world view.

He has done a great job closing the border. He was also able to get a couple of years of limited tax relief on tips, overtime and social security. In exchange for those 2 years of slight relief he gave a substantial and permanent tax break to people who don’t need it because they make over a million a year and he has probably caused substantial damage to the safety net with his healthcare cuts.

Everything else he has done has been an absolute damage and betrayal of his promises, in my view. He has not brought peace but has emboldened those in wars to continue—as we continue funding them. He allowed Israel to shoehorn us into their regional conflicts—whuch again we are paying for.

And perhaps worst of all he’s brought a little taste of terror home for us all in the form of masked agents that disappear people who deserve better and whose families deserve better. And he lies by calling them “the worst of the worst”.

If you believe that behavior s demonstrative of a “Christian worldview” then it is possible that we have a dramatically different view of what that looks like.

  43. Correct!

But sorry corrupt media, you no longer control the narrative.

“It’s even bigger than that. Jeff did it all over again when Covid hit, exposing the cover-up, the Wuhan lab, and Fauci’s role in painstaking, forensic detail. The truth is, we now live in a world where independent voices expose the facts while the media works to bury them.”

  46. Obama living rent free since 2008……..

I know who’s not in the Epstein files — Obama.

Let’s stick to the present. It’s obvious that quite a few rich powerful men are being protected by both parties. This is the swamp, the uniparty, in action yet we’re supposed to be concerned about something that occurred in 2016 and has no effect on present US policy.

Given the connections Maxwell and Epstein had to several intelligence agencies, the question has to be raised — has the US gov’t been compromised and is it still being compromised today? When Clinton, Bannon, Trump, RFK, Summers, Prince Andrew and more are implicated, a public or congressional inquiry is needed to ensure US gov’t is acting in the interests of the US and not whatever intelligence agencies have compromising information.

  47. Lol. Rent free is right. He’s probably not in the Epstein files, but O. may indeed be implicated in Russiagate (or, as I think of it, the Coup). I doubt the intell agency or agencies if you prefer, are going to let Epstein secrets go public. But they are not all powerful, so you never know.

  48. This piece from CNN (yeah, I know, not a favorite around here), seems pretty balanced to me. One point it makes is that President Trump had involvement with Epstein for a number of years, but then cut that off when Epstein went too far. It also points out that that does not necessarily mean that Trump did what some suspect.

Unfortunately, his “dodgy claims” (as this puts it) about some matters clouds the issue in the eyes of many.

5 big questions about Trump’s ties to Epstein

~ “But even if Trump really was somehow “not a fan,” he’s made other dodgy claims.

In January 2024, he said on social media: “I was never on Epstein’s Plane …” In fact, flight logs had already shown Trump flew on it seven times in the 1990s.

Trump also claimed in 2019 that he didn’t “know Prince Andrew” of Britain, who has been the subject of Epstein-related allegations, despite a number of photos showing Trump with the Duke of York.

Trump often lies and misleads in his public statements. And he certainly has reason to downplay his ties to Epstein. But going too far in that direction undercuts your credibility and feeds suspicion about what you might be hiding.” ~

    From point #4:

~ “What did Trump know of Epstein’s proclivities?
Trump’s 2002 comment about Epstein’s taste for women “on the younger side” has also loomed over him, furthering theories that he might have known something about what Epstein had been up to.

That remains speculative and unproven. Trump also said nothing about underage girls; he cited young “women.” ~

  49. The credibility of the Russia Hoax is right up there with Benghazi and Emails. The Republican party has long stretched the definition of a scandal.

The CNN article is pretty fair. It didn’t mention the recent story that the DOJ was using FBI agents to flag any mention of Trump in the Epstein files. That has to be curious and should raise red flags of their own

Its usually the cover up not the “crime” that becomes the problem and that may be the case here.

  50. Letting your country be overrun by double digit millions is not just and merciful. It’s dereliction of duty, and a huge disservice to your countrymen who suffer because funds that should go to help them, help invaders instead.

    Its unjust, and criminal.

  51. I agree, AJ. That’s why I fully supported the President’s swift action to place our military on the border. They should have been there all along in my opinion. They should have permanent bases there.

You do not fix decades of wrongdoing with minimally trained contractors often hiding behind masks and hurried along with high quotas designed to achieve the President’s goal of deporting millions as fast as possible.

And when you occupy a city with troops you better have a stellar reason. Using troops to intimidate the population is breaking faith with the American people, especially when they are used to run roughshod over our protective amendments which are designed to ensure our safety and freedom.

Trying to justify that kind of behavior by scapegoating these immigrants as “the worst of the worst” is not just a slanderous lie, it’s dangerous —-as scapegoating always is.

There is time to do the job decently and in order, and if we don’t use justice and mercy as our guides, we may lose the ability to discern them altogether. Then tyranny truly is at the door
