  3. 10:48, agreed. In my experience with insane people, there is often a nugget (or boulder) of truth buried in there, but not always. Let’s look for the second and third witnesses.

  4. First I have heard of this… hmmm

In May 2025, a father and son from Utah, James and Maxwell Jensen, were indicted for providing material support to the Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG), a Mexican cartel. They are accused of conspiring to support the cartel with U.S. currency through an enterprise called Arroyo Terminals, based in Rio Hondo, Texas. They also face charges of money laundering and smuggling.

The indictment, handed down in the Southern District of Texas, alleges that the Jensens’ actions involved providing financial support and engaging in financial transactions to conceal the source of illegally obtained funds, specifically from crude oil smuggling. The case is part of a larger effort by the Department of Justice to combat cartels and transnational criminal organizations. The Jensens were arrested in Texas and are facing serious penalties, including potential prison time and fines

“Beware of organizations like J29 and the After Party, which, with the help of David French and Russell Moore, position themselves as theologically conservative while pushing churches to the left. Thanks to @megbasham for being a relentless voice on this.

The church doesn’t need any more people in the mushy middle. We need pastors who are committed to clarity and courage, who aren’t afraid to preach the entire Word of God, even when it confronts controversial, political topics like gender, sexuality, and abortion. “

“BREAKING: President Trump just brokered peace between Congo and Rwanda — ending a war that’s killed millions over decades.

No awards. No media praise.Just real results.

He’s stopped wars in Africa, the Balkans, the Middle East — even laid groundwork for Israel/Iran.

But they still won’t give him a Nobel Peace Prize?

    Because he’s Donald Trump.

    But history will remember.

    Results > Recognition.”

  9. Praying as the Lord reveals the wolves in His church. New Life Church has yet another scandal and I know a few still on staff who should have left after the last.

The documents also say that leadership at New Life hired Boyd as senior pastor despite knowing he was among those who were informed of the abuse. During a service on June 8, Boyd denied knowing about the child abuse that allegedly took place in the 1980s.

Boyd’s former mentor, Robert Morris, who Boyd appointed overseer of New Life, is facing charges in Oklahoma in connection with the sexual abuse of Cindy Clemishire when she was between the ages of 12 and 16. Morris was in his 20s at the time. Boyd is not accused of any crimes in the court documents.

During the announcement Friday night, the church Elders said they did not believe that Boyd did not know about the alleged abuse. They say they asked Boyd to resign and he did so on Wednesday

All this governmental trash comes as no surprise as it fits in with worldly pursuits but we need other worldly hearts and minds being ever aware and watchful.

  10. I rarely agree with authors about everything they write, but this one is close. And I firmly agree with the conclusion. This is the first few paragraphs.

” We shouldn’t treat the Abrahamic covenant lightly, but neither should we cherry-pick it to haphazardly apply to a modern geopolitical map.

ll politics is theology, as Federalist CEO Sean Davis likes to say, and nowhere was that clearer than in a recent discussion between Tucker Carlson and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, about the United States’ relationship to Israel’s recent offensive against Iran.

In the interview, which aired Wednesday, Cruz invoked the biblical statement that “those who bless Israel will be blessed, and those who curse Israel will be cursed.” The verse, which comes directly from Numbers 24:9, is a reference to God’s promise to Abraham in Genesis 12:3: “I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Cruz, who said he doesn’t want to put American boots on the ground in Iran but would support doing so “if the risk got severe enough,” concluded that the passage means “biblically we are commanded to support Israel…..

  11. I have read that the current nation of Israel is not necessarily the Israel that was mentioned in the Bible, and thus there is no biblical reason to support what they do. Depending on your understanding or theology, true Israel would be the Jewish people wherever they are (but not the Israeli government) or the promises to Israel now apply to Christian believers, not the Jewish people.

As for me, whether or not the current state of Israel is the Israel of the Bible, I support their right to exist and defend themselves. But I do not support all that they are currently doing.

  12. Seeing the nation of Israel as formed in 1948 as the same as historical/biblical Israel comes from a dispensationalist understanding of the Scriptures which many of us don’t hold to and is not (we believe) biblical.

There is a valid support for modern-day Israel due to its embrace of a democratic form of government and right to exist as a nation and its alliance with our nation through the years.

Meanwhile, we can all pray that going forward this war will end quickly, justly, and with as little bloodshed as possible; and with, God willing, a just end and ultimately with a cutting off and end of nuclear ammunition capabilities in hostile hands that would pose an ongoing and real threat to our world.

Praying for a quick and just peace and safety for all in harm’s way, especially civilians and all noncombatants on all sides.

  14. Obama and Biden had dropped a huge cashe of money (billions!) to feed the Iranian war machine that is used against Israel and the USA. Iran’s nuclear enrichment program was already well-advanced, and their threats and attacks have been persistent. Pres. Trump gave Iran 60 days to come to the negotiating table for peace talks, but they refused. Hence the taking out of the nuclear sites. Pres. Trump was decisive – I’m sure glad that none of those Dems (who had already sold us out) were at the helm…

  15. The Biden admin let in a lot of bad people – we need to be on the alert for Iranian terror activities on US soil.

Also, we should pray for Iranian citizens to finally overthrow the evil Iranian regime once and for all.

  16. They gave Iran it’s own money back which we have kept frozen here since the 1979 revolution in Iran. We could have kept it, but technically it was not ours to keep. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to matter. We take what we want and justify it later.

  17. I have wished for the current regime to fall, but from within not from outside. I’m afraid this will make them stronger. It is natural for a nation under attack from outside tobins to whatever offers stability within. Now we wait to see what happens.

  18. In September 2023, the Biden administration facilitated the transfer of approximately $6 billion in frozen Iranian oil revenues from South Korea to Qatar, as part of a deal to secure the release of five American citizens held in Iran
. In exchange, the US agreed to grant clemency to five Iranians imprisoned in the United States

But it was in the name of diplomacy so that should make it ok I suppose…and just in my own view we should never ever have given Iran a cent … they are a terrorist nation

You were right and I was as wrong. I know you are too kind to gloat, but I did want to acknowledge that publically.

  21. While I consider a couple of past Presidents complicit in setting the stage for this latest move against Iran I remind myself this comes as no surprise to our Creator. He indeed forewarned us of these days to come. No wringing of the hands for those of us who know and trust in Him. It can become frustrating to our human eye, understanding and emotion … trusting Him evermore.

  22. Appreciated here, too, Debra, and also no gloating ever.

It does, nevertheless, still leave me uneasy under the ongoing leadership we have for the time being.

Praying always for our nation, wisdom and wise guidance to break through — and peace as we navigate possibly very rough waters ahead.

  23. While I was somewhat agnostic about the precise decision and best course regarding Iran in this immediate instance — we can’t always know what our leaders, wise or not, know in a specific circumstance — I am very uneasy about what the fallout now could be, especially with regard to both Iran and Russia.

Things can always get (much) worse. And that’s the very real concern the world now faces.

    Praying fervently that they don’t.

  24. It was just a “mostly peaceful” protest of Iranian nuclear sites.

While I disagree with Trump’s decision, as mentioned, we don’t have all the details.

Hopefully this was a one off event.

  26. The question also is whether a true disarming has actually been accomplished with much discussion that a rearming can rather quickly be accomplished and that some of the material has already been moved this could be merely a setback. We don’t know what this has actually accomplished.

There are the “howevers,” still to be determined.

And the technology know-how likely still remains.
