  1. Good morning! A misty morning greeted me today. I got up late since Art stayed at the office last night. Today is the big deadline in Georgia.

A church I went to some events at years back had signs by the parking lot exits that read, “You are now entering the missions field.” Do we ever act like that is true?

  2. We are going to have above average temperatures for a while. It will be welcomed, I am sure. We received over three inches of rain and that is slowly sinking into the ground. We needed it. It would be nice to not get the extremes, but there was The Fall, unfortunately.

Actually, there might be a need for some missions work right in the church, too.

  3. Kathaleena, that is very true, the mission field is everywhere, including in the church. I was mostly thinking of the great emphasis that my church places on global missions. I love that it does that, but sometimes it seems that is counted somehow as more valuable than closer to home missions.

Mumsee, I have never thought so deeply as to consider its shape. I guess if I had to choose a shape, it would be a sphere. God seems to like those. He did not make the planets squares.

  5. Just finished studying Revelation. The new Jerusalem is a perfect cube as Rev 21:16 says that the length, width, and height are the same. Hard to imagine the height.

  6. I have thought of it as a very large cube but son mentioned that when height is measured, it is the highest peak, not necessarily the whole thing. So he was thinking of a mountain shape, like a pyramid. Still huge. Then he asked some AI to picture Revelation 21. It came up with more of a pyramid concept.

so then, if the highest peak is measured, that could hold true for length and width as well. Then Janice’s sphere could work.

I guess I will have to wait and see.
