Praying for AJ as I think his procedure is today if all worked out for it to happen.
Heavenly Father, I lift up AJ, my Brother in Christ, asking Your blessing and favor to be upon him and his wife Cheryl today. You know the timing and all the details of exactly what needs to happen. I pray in advance, preemptively for any minor or major miracles of timing, expertise, and working together of staff, medications, and Your supernatural orchestration of the whole process. May You grant a successful way forward, step by step, in this road to better health and a more normal life for AJ and Cheryl. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

Art will get some PT to see if it will help with his back as a first option of care. Please pray he will make time to do what he is instructed to do.

Debra,
Yeah… about that….
I still have another major surgery to come, the reversal of the colostomy on Nov 26th.
I will spend Thanksgiving in the hospital as it requires a 3 to 5 day hospital stay afterwards. No turkey for me. 😔
I’m looking forward to it though, and hopefully the only thing I will need after that is follow up appts with the Drs and wound center.
But hopefully Christmas is not spent in the hospital this year in surgery.
I’m so ready for a little normal in my life. Hopefully, that’s what God has planned for me too. 🙂

Yeah, RK. “Normal” is a relative term, isn’t it? 🙂
