Boy had an accident on his bike yesterday afternoon. He was riding through some leaves when his front tire struck something hidden under the leaves, causing him to catapult over the handlebars. He has a fracture in his upper right arm, right near the shoulder. It is also in the growth plate, meaning it is a little more serious than a typical fracture. He will be seeing a pediatric orthopedist next week.
Please pray for a quick, full healing, with no adverse affects due to the location of the fracture.
Poor Nightingale had been at work, and had become very nauseous, along with getting a fever. She was looking forward to getting home to rest, but then got the call about Boy. They didn’t get home until after 2 in the morning.
So sorry to hear of Boy’s painful accident. Thankful it was not worse. Poor Nightingale. That is a double whammy! Praying for them both, and for you as you help them out in various ways. May God bring proper healing and no more accidents (this on top of concussions? Enough already!) Please be their help in these troubling times, Lord Jesus, and please draw them to Jesus, Holy Spirit. Father God bless them with Your best provision during this difficult time. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen
One of the ways I helped was when I discovered last evening, while they were gone, that Janie had gotten into a bag of trash that Boy was supposed to have taken out the night before. The trash was strewn all over the kitchen and hallway with some in the living room and going down the stairs, too.
It wasn’t a pleasant task to stumble into, but I was definitely not going to leave it there for Nightingale to deal with when she got home.
Speaking of Janie, I also made sure that she got out often enough to go potty, and fed her and gave her fresh water. And a couple of treats!
Prayers for AJ to get done what needs doing before the hoped for procedures can take place.
Please, Lord, make a clear path forward for AJ on all You know needs to happen. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Still hoping to hear of the safe arrival of little grandson. It will be through the grapevine. Some of you might let me know.
