🙂 Finally, some rain! Not much, but grateful for any right now.
😀 I had to laugh at a comment in a thread on Facebook. The thread was with a news article talking about a future roundabout. One of the commentators said no more roundabouts should be put in, since they cause tornadoes. The science is clear. Lol. It is a good illustration of how numbers can be manipulated. 😀
Mrs Flyboy (daughter-in-law) is doing much better than a couple weeks ago when I asked for prayer for her. She is indeed expecting a baby, as I made obvious then without saying it. This is our first grandchild.
She’s so creative. During a visit in August she and Flyboy gave us a homemade anniversary card and had me read it aloud. It said they looked forward to new adventures with us in the coming year and had a small drawing at the bottom of a stork carrying a baby. Sneaky announcement.
Today they came over and handed out copies of a word search for all of us (including Flyboy’s sister KJ) to work on. It had mostly baby-related words like crying, sleeping, diapers, stork, etc. The grid had two bonus words that weren’t in the word list. Mrs B exclaimed “Male” when she found it. (The other bonus word was “nephew”.) Sneaky gender reveal.
How exciting, Kevin, congratulations! My best friend just welcomed a new grandbaby (girl) a couple months ago and is over the moon 🙂 I get many photos texted 🙂 to me now of happy, adorable Emma Jane.
