  1. A confirmed Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang member has been arrested for allegedly recruiting students from two Houston middle schools to become new gang members.

Jorgenys Robertson Cova, an illegal alien from Venezuela, entered the United States two years ago, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The 32-year-old was arrested Monday after a string of alleged thefts.

Cova is also alleged to have recruited middle school students from Jane Long Academy and Las Americas, which are part of Houston Independent School District.

It’s an issue even though those “in power” in Aurora and Denver say it is “over blown”. I am thankful Trump calls this out and doesn’t back down. This is a nationwide crisis!

  2. Just one comment from yesterday about feeling ‘led’ to vote in the direction you are leaning in anyway. I have thought about this quite a bit actually and wondered if I have been guilty of it from time to time. But I wouldn’t use that wording. I don’t know that I have been specifically ‘led’ by the Lord in my voting for a national election. I have been impressed with a heaviness or even felt convicted over certain issues or national behaviors. I have felt the heaviness of the wrongdoing and God’s displeasure. And I believe the conviction is usually because I have not repented first on my own behalf, but also on behalf of my nation. And part of that is articulating the issue–both in writing and in speech, and in prayer. I have not had a specific leading from the Lord that one candidate is better than the other, but more about the issue itself. And from the stance on the issue, I can determine who to vote for, usually.

The one time that I had a very specific leading for a vote was many years ago in a vote for deacon. And it was absolutely positively unmistakable, and I might add, unpleasantly startling. I’ve not had that experience before or since in any voting matters.

  3. Interesting thought on being “led,” Debra. Thank you for sharing.

There are many avenues through which God could lead, but I think they all must be tested and found true to Scripture to know if it was actually the leading of God or if from some unknown influence creeping in.

  4. NJ (re: your comment @ 11:00 last night) – Yes, we do see those issues you mentioned as being moral issues, and not what we mean when we refer to “politics”.

    *******

Debra (re: “. . .but also [repenting] on behalf of my nation.”) – I admit that I don’t always remember to do so, but I do repent on behalf of our nation, and pray for God to have mercy on us once again. (And again and again, as needed.)

It is so easy as Christians to look down our noses at the sinners (who sin differently than we did/do) in our midst, and to think of them as “other” than us. But Paul reminds us that we were once in the same sinking boat as they.

  5. Janice – Exactly. So please be assured that when I say that I feel led by God in this matter, it has been through prayer, informed by scripture, and I do not say it lightly. As I said in my comment to AJ last night, as I prayed, I kept an open mind. As hard as it may be for some to believe, I truly did consider being open to casting a vote for Trump.

Again, as I said last night, it is a mystery of why God would lead some of us one way and some another. But He does it in other circumstances, too.

  6. It’s already a known fact.

And it’s odd, I don’t remember any such concerns from you when the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax and the pee tape hoax was all the rage among your favorite Never Trump sources, so spare me…..

  7. “When I received a tip back in August claiming Tim Walz had an inappropriate relationship with a minor, I was very skeptical. I get dozens of tips/dm’s per day. In fact, I did not act on the tip for a few days because I thought it would be impossible to prove the allegations. I also knew that Harris and Walz would deny the allegations.

However, the tipster gave me specific details, So, I sent an email to the Harris Campaign and the official VP account, why the VP account? -Because that account is required by law to keep the emails in accordance with the Presidential Records Act. So, I sent an email only a couple days after Walz was announced asking the Harris campaign about a Tim Walz taking a trip with a minor to an Indigo Girls concert, I did not expect Gwen Walz to make a comment to a reporter about it in an unrelated story shortly thereafter, it seemed as though they were trying to get out in front of the story.

I also sent an email to all of the above accounts days after Tim Walz was announced that the specific source had told me that Gwen Walz DID NOT have her children via IVF. This was weeks perhaps months ahead of the MSM. I contacted the schools In Nebraska and in Minnesota. While I must confess, the Minnesota school did comment to me and tell me Tim Walz was an upstanding teacher and citizen, the school in Nebraska –Alliance–refused to comment on the story at all.

However, one part of the tipster story did not make sense to me, the date of the Indigo Girls Concert. Tipster claimed it was in 1995, but I could not find anything corresponding to that date, well, the tipster told the truth, there was a concert in 1995, and the tipster claimed that Walz got a DUI months after the concert.

The dates of my emails to the Harris Campaign and the VP account are weeks/months ahead of any MSM story about the specific details given by the tipster, If I am not being truthful, the Harris campaign can CRUSH my story. However, I videotaped my emails with dates and the fact that the submissions were received in accordance with the Presidential records act will serve as a TIME STAMP that I indeed put them on notice, and I did indeed have details that nobody else in the country had at those specific periods of time. I also documented my numerous phone calls.

Tim Walz has lied about almost every single detail of his life. Him and his wife have been getting a pass from the MSM. Yesterday, I received numerous threats, in fact, some of the threats were scary as some of the accounts were brand new accounts and had my personal information. In my investigation, I also emailed all the major news outlets WHILE my investigation was in progress. I have every single receipt.

I also made a cryptic post on my timeline weeks ago when I asked my followers if they would ever allow their kids to spend the night at a teacher’s house and go to a concert with a teacher, this post was made BEFORE the admission of Walz that he did indeed take a student to a concert. Furthermore, this was done YEARS before he became an advocate for Gay and Transgender people. These allegations are serious, and I waited months to release not because I was looking to hijack an election, my emails to the Harris Campaign and the VP account will prove I had put them on notice in August of these allegations. I waited on this story because of how difficult these allegations are to prove, and I wanted to give Tim Walz every opportunity imaginable to explain the details.

I have also found out that there were other journalists who had parts of this story but did not print it or withheld the information. It is my plan to release the story tomorrow. I have gone out of my way to give Harris and Walz the opportunity to flat out deny the allegations, but they have really done the opposite, in fact, in statements to various articles they have confirmed much of the story. The only allegation about the tipster’s story I cannot prove is if Walz did indeed have a sexual relationship with a minor. That is Walz vs. The Tipster. But every aspect of the tipster’s story turned out to be true, including Walz being fired from his football job in Nebraska and the fact that Walz brought a student to an Indigo Girls concert.

The time stamped preserved emails will show that details of Tim Walz not previously known were known by the tipster. But I would like to make one last point, it is clear that there is a pedophilia problem with not only Hollywood, but in Washington as well. I can guarantee it is not just the democrats either.”

  8. We are acutely aware of the precarious position of the unborn because of abortion here in the US. But we don’t usually think of the unborn and the things that negatively affect them and their families in other countries. I found this article unusual for that reason. It turns out war is unhealthy for them too.

  9. I’m not a particular fan of the UN in any of its various capacities, but it’s my understanding that they are invited guests in Lebanon; Israel is not. From what I’ve read I think the official Lebanese army is trying to stay on the sidelines of the Israel/Hamas/Hezbollah war. But respecting national sovereignty is not a one way street: you have to give it to get it.

“The UN peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon says Israeli tanks forced their way into one of its positions early on Sunday morning, the latest in a series of incidents in recent days.

In a statement, the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (Unifil) said two Israel Defense Forces (IDF) tanks destroyed the main gate of a post in Ramyah, near the border with Israel, and “forcibly entered the position” to request it turn out its lights.

About two hours later, it said rounds were fired nearby that saw smoke enter the camp, causing 15 peacekeepers to suffer skin irritations and gastrointestinal reactions.

These incidents were “shocking violations”, it said.

The statement comes after Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged Unifil to move away from areas where fighting was taking place “immediately”.

  10. AJ – The piece you quoted also included this: “The only allegation about the tipster’s story I cannot prove is if Walz did indeed have a sexual relationship with a minor.”

  11. As I said the last time you made that accusation of me not showing any concern about the “Russia, Russia, Russia hoax and the pee tape hoax” stuff, I never came across those pieces in my reading.

Those sources that you refer to as merely “Never Trump sources” are much more than about Trump. In fact, of the pieces I see and read, not many at all are about him.

  12. The sources that tend to support the ‘Never Trump’ movement and agendas are indeed concerned about more than just Trump. They are against his entire movement. Those sources like the WSJ are sometimes considered the ‘moderates’.

I will say though I sometimes read articles there or at NPR or the BBC. You just have to acknowledge their bias.

  13. As for the accusations against Walz, nothing much surprises anymore, but count me among those who want to see hard evidence before too much publicity creates another unsubstantiated sex scandal from decades ago. Doesn’t anyone remember Bret Kavanaugh? Not that I care about Walz, sadly I care less than I probably should, but crying ‘wolf’ certainly desensitzes the public to the very real problem of pedophilia.

  14. The last I heard, Elon was being forced to let Ukraine use his satellite service Skynet or sky something….( Ok, skynet might be from some sci-fi movie, but I feel like I’m living in a sci-fi sometimes so it works). :–)

  15. Debra – There was also that salacious rumor about Paul Pelosi and his attacker. Sadly, I saw that rumor spread by fellow Christians, who should know better.

  16. I’d consider WSJ centrist-conservative (but leaning heavily conservative, the Reagan/traditional form of it anyway; but they’ve had editorial writers supporting and defending Trump and editorial board has gone to bat for Trump with regard to specific criticisms). Strassel is fair, and she (not infrequently) will defend Trump against some of his critics in her pieces.

  18. So this happened and the sheriff of that county said they most likely stopped a third attempt on President Trumps life. Then they release this guy today with the promise he will show up in court Jan 2???? Imagine if this had been Harris…or anyone else for that matter. Got to love how CA does things!

Miller allegedly presented fake VIP and press passes at the checkpoint which resulted in a search from officers at the scene.

He was found in possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition when his black SUV was searched.

Miller was booked at John Benoit Detention Center and handed a bail worth £10,000 for each of the two misdemeanors for which he was charged.

He was released from custody on Sunday but will appear at Indio Larson Justice Centre on January 2.

  19. AJ – It occurred to me that I replied to your 10:23 comment coming from the wrong direction, although what I said was true.

But my comment last night was more specifically about what we here choose to say or share, not what one media or another is saying. The anti-Trump media does its share of bearing false witness and the pro-Trump media does its share of bearing false witness. But we don’t have to jump into the pool with them.

As far as I know, I did not share anything about those stories you mentioned. I was never convinced that Trump colluded with Russia, and I found the so-called “pee pee tape” story to be distasteful, to say the least, and didn’t buy into it. I didn’t even bother reading about it.
