  1. A little chill in the air this morning, I’ve actually thrown on a sweatshirt.

Off to cover 52 new US citizens take their oath onboard the Iowa this morning, these are always moving events to cover.

  2. The temp was 61° when I got up around 6 a.m. I have felt chilly all day.

A friend from church picked me up early to go stamp Bibles and books at the Prison ministry. We picked up two more ladies. I had been unable to be in touch to let people know to expect us. They were grateful to God because they needed more help today. God supplied the need through us.

We had lunch at a French restaurant, La Madeleine. It was very good. I think it is a chain. My first visit there. Two thumbs up!

  3. Our church Ladies bible study began today. We are going to spend six weeks doing a study by Anne Graham Lotz on the prayer of Daniel. When you purchase the book it includes access to the online part of the study. Very good so far.

The prayer of Daniel seems like something we all need to be studying now.

  4. Had an interesting talk with Anna. I asked her what she thought of the Bible. Then told her that I believed it to be true and the only source of truth. Somehow God led me to tell her my testimony. At her age I was not a believer, but having a son out of wedlock led me to seek out the Christians that God had placed in my life because I knew that they had the answers and I didn’t. She is now off on a walk. Pray that her heart would be open. I know she attended church when she was younger.

  5. Listened to someone speak on what they feel will happen with the election. It was interesting. But he could see chaos ahead and a stock market fall.

I am not worried because I know that God has His plans.

But it led me to consider how to be prepared. I have a Roth account and can use some of that money as it is doing very well. I also want to have money on hand for just in case.

    Any thoughts, anyone?
