Good morning. Same weather here, mumsee. We will be outside (and I will be too warm) since husband’s group performs for an assisted living resident’s summer picnic.
I spoke with someone in customer service in MN at My Pillow yesterday. I told them I was surprised when I hear at times it is hotter there than in Atlanta.
I ordered two pillows and some towels back in July from a postcard offer. The charge went through July 15. I never have gotten them. Hopefully they will arrive soon.
mumsee … 😦 Actual behind-the-wheel test or the written test?
Abby’s passing her car-riding tests these days, with a hard yank on the leash still required, however. Whatever it takes.
Trainer spied on us yesterday at the park, doing a fist-bump and letting out a cheer from across the street inside her parked car when I got Abby into the car to go home on just the second try.
Behind the wheel. Daughter panicked when a semi approached and went off the road. Son did something while parking that involved the accelerator rather than the brake.
Dj, so glad y’all are finally jumping the hurdle of car rides! Soon she will be a pro wanting to show pride in overcoming that fear. You’ll need to watch her as she wants to jump into vehicles with strangers to celebrate her new found freedom.
I also flunked my first behind-the-wheel test as a 16-year-old; driving tester told me to make a left turn and I failed to see there was a dedicated LHT lane. I forget how we fixed that, but do remember sitting at the red light when I realized, oh-oh, I’m in the wrong lane …
Passed the test when I took it a month later (or whatever the wait time was). I’d been driving for some time with my parents who taught me, so was surprised I made such a glaring mistake!
Good morning, all. Another beautiful day here. Sun is shining, should be high seventies today, last I saw.

Well, both children flunked their driving test yesterday. Not unexpected.

Abby will get an Uber account before I know it!

I did a feature story once on stories driving instructors at the local DMV could tell me. Didn’t turn out as funny as I’d hoped.
