  1. Remembering all my brothers and sisters in Christ in prayer.

Also, giving thanks to God for his graciousness to my family. Dad had another stroke (or we think it was) on Friday. He didn’t want to go to the hospital and we had decided that unless he is in pain or seriously incapacitated he doesn’t have to. He has been in bed for several days, but can manage to go to the bathroom by himself using the walker. He’s still very weak to sit up for long. He’s 98 and I had thought this might be the end of his life, and it still may, but he is looking much perkier today, although weak. Please pray for him and especially for my husband who is stressed far worse than either Dad or I am. Dad has been a constant companion to husband (who works from home) for 8 years and husband has been the primary care giver. They have become very close, and husband is devastated and depressed at the thought of losing him.

  2. Debra we lift you prayer. So very thankful for the close relationship forged between your husband and Dad. Trusting the Lord to bring comfort in the last days of the journey…even as He extends the “one more day” cherished moments❣️❣️❣️

  3. Prayers for him, your husband, and you, Debra. So thankful for the close bond, it’s a dear, dear thing. The letting go is indeed hard. May God bring comfort to ease the emotional pain and any physical distress through this final phase.

I heard someone in my realm say recently of a loved one that at the point of death she told her loved ones they can shout, “Touchdown!”
