🙂 Thankful for a pleasant break from the overwhelming heat and humidity that we had here for several days. And for a little time alone while Nightingale and Boy are off camping for the weekend.

😦 This election very unpleasant election season. The nation is in for a wild ride and this tension and sharp division will not dissipate soon, no matter what happens, no matter who “wins.” Praying our churches can remain focused on their mission and not wind up getting caught up in the emotional turmoil of party politics.
I did some housecleaning yesterday and feel much better. Cleaned out a bunch of old phone contacts. People who have died, work contacts of my husband’s that went in my phone when he loaded phone numbers from his phone, and several of my adult children with whom I desire no contact. They know my address if they need something. Very freeing!
