  1. Praise: my dad expected to be sore this morning but is feeling fine. His hand is healing nicely. He is ready to get back to the tennis courts this morning.

    Prayer: for our nation. Specifically for Vance and family as they have entered a whole new realm of attack. May God be their strength.

    Janice, I think it most important to listen to God. If he wants you to bring a specific person or thing to our attention for prayer, listen to Him!

  2. Thanks, Mumsee. We have muzzling in one of my Bible study group prayer times to a certain degree based on political affiliations so I guess I am super sensitive to it in groups. If I get a hint of it, it makes me want to back away so as not to offend and to keep the peace (if at all possible, do whatever you can . . .)

    In my Bible study group, report of another safe fall by a lady in her 90s was mentioned. God is so actively keeping these older people safe from harm as they land pn the floor. My friend was able to get her mom up. She did not know she could do it, but together and with God’s help, they suceeded! Paise be to God!

  3. Janice – After seeing your later comments on the prayer thread last night, I was puzzled, so I went back to re-read the other comments. It seems to me that the subsequent comments on prayer for the nation were not meant to counter your prayer, but to add to it.

    I hope that helps you feel better about it.

  6. Thanks, Dj, and Kizzie. It is difficult being a conservative in a very liberal area. I feel like I walk through landmines every day. Or eggshells. The alternative is to stay isolated from everyone. It gets tiresome
