  1. Good morning. We are starting out at 77° and 60% humidity. We are creeping back toward uncomfortable.

The past two days have been utterly delightful, not feeling like Atlanta at all. We had a breezy East wind and low humidity. I got in a lot of walking while I could.

  2. I attended a seminar about VBS and found that, indeed, the amount of time was significant as was the sensory aspect for many students that impacted remembering key lessons. I would imagine it would depend on how the VBS is done.

We had to drive to a town about 45 miles away today and were shocked to actually see the flooding. The whole main street is flooded, and the peak will not be until tomorrow night. The park with the gazebo that music groups (including my husband’s) perform in is all underwater. We could drive on dry highway all the way, but you cannot drive in town. To get to the hospital and many other places (if you can at all) people have to detour. Dozens of roads are closed. The county ran out of barriers and orange cones. It is truly sad.

  3. I had Archie and Lucy today. Boy they sure drenched me in the pool but they can really swim now

I talked to Archie about what he said last week. I told him that it really hurt but that I appreciated that he was honest and told me what I needed to know. Also that now he doesn’t have to hide things from me.

he also asked about me being married to my ex. I shared a few brief facts without casting blame
