😅 Art found a new chair for his desk to replace the raggedy one
😃 He found it at the shop near the office where I loved to shop. The same old Mon and Pop are still there with their dog (after Covid) and the dog recognized Art❤
😅 I have a new friend to visit with this week. She uses Marta Mobility to get around town so I can learn from her.
😃 I baked my cookie bars in the electic roaster outside so the house does not feel like an oven
😦 I baked tuxedo bars and thought they were a failure. They puff up and have a crisp top layer. I ended up going back to my tried-and-true banana flips recipe to bring to the potluck.
🙂 Turns out the bars are very good. I have enough banana flips to bring to church to have with the coffee after church.
I was shocked in church to have one of the song leaders mention she had noticed banana flips for with coffee. She was thrilled. She was gone from the church for about five years and said she missed them. It just made me laugh.
