  2. I don’t know why Trump agreed to a debate hosted by these stooges.

    “Jake Tapper is a deranged Russia hoaxer, 2016 election truther, and Kavanaugh rape hoaxer, in addition to being a former gun control spokesman. His wife was a paid Planned Parenthood abortion activist.

    But yeah, I’m sure CNN (which gave Hillary Clinton debate questions in advance) will be super fair and not try to rig the election by rigging the debate.”

  5. And we are going deeper and deeper into debt to fund this folly.

    “It’s getting harder and harder to pretend the war in Ukraine, now in its third year, is about “defending democracy,” as our political elites in Washington insist.

    This is especially true when Secretary of State Antony Blinken shows up in Ukraine to deliver billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to fund the war, proclaims that Ukraine’s scheduled presidential elections this spring are canceled until “conditions allow” (Ukraine has not held elections since 2019), and then jaunts off to a popular Kyiv nightclub to play a boomerish cover of Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World.”

    That actually happened this week.

    And it happened just days after Russia unleashed an armored ground offensive in Ukraine’s northeast near the country’s second-largest city, Kharkiv.

    Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continued pushing the same quixotic message he’s been repeating for years now: Ukraine is in dire need of even more Western aid, without which the war effort will collapse, but also Ukraine is capable of “winning” this war — that is, expelling all Russian forces from Ukrainian territory.

    At this point, no one really believes that. Nor does anyone really believe — if they ever did — that Ukraine, one of the most corrupt countries in the world before the war began, is a bastion of democracy. Indeed, asked about presidential elections in Ukraine, which were scheduled for this spring but have been delayed indefinitely, Blinken said bluntly that there will be no elections until “all Ukrainians” can vote….”

  6. Also know that Ukraine “authorities” have pocketed millions for themselves, and bought new mansions and 600,000 dollar cars.

  8. This news snippet explains the reason that the presidential debate will not be held by the Commission on Presidential Debates.

    ~~~ President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump both announced Wednesday that they had agreed to two presidential debates—on June 27 and September 10—hosted by CNN and ABC News. The debates are not organized by the Commission on Presidential Debates, a nonpartisan group that has run all presidential debates since 1988, after both campaigns took issue with the dates the body selected. Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has not received an invitation to either debate since he currently falls short of the polling and ballot-access benchmarks set by the networks, but he tweeted yesterday that he “will meet the criteria to participate in the [CNN] debate before the June 20 deadline.” ~~~
  9. Trump’s issue was the dates, too late for his tastes.
    Biden’s was not having moderators friendly to his campaign. Plus he knows CNN will give him the questions in advance, wink, wink, like they did for Hillary.
    Also, the debate commission planned to include Kennedy. Biden didn’t like that either.
    Big difference.
    Also, where was your snippet from?
  10. I love how the political ‘sides’ always must have a debate about the debates before they happen. lol
    The candidates manage to score their points and make their own mistakes and blunders — so that will always be what comes out of these events. Those are what impacts polls and people’s views (if anything even will).
    Always possible someone will make a huge blunder — or not look good on camera or get angry or confused (or both) or sweat too much or have a stubborn fly land on a forehead — and that will be what “sticks.”
    I think it’s wise not to have an audience, that can be such a distraction. “Don’t clap” is always ignored by everyone.
    Let the games begin.
