My comment was not on those other matters, but on this particular case. Your post claimed that she was sentenced to 4 years and 9 months for merely protesting outside an abortion clinic. That was false. What she did was much more than that, and three years of her sentence will not be in prison.
She may not have caused the nurse’s sprained ankle, but she was the leader of the incident, which puts some responsibility on her.
It is too bad that others are not being held responsible for their own crimes, but that does not mean that this woman should get off for hers.
