Prayer here for two of the six daughters. One, not unexpectedly, has discovered it is difficult to drive the children back and forth every two weeks for their dad’s court mandated forty eight hour visit and is trying to get out of it.
Twenty two has been talking about having an adult conversation yesterday. As expected, she spent half an hour vilifying me with lots of profanity and obscenity to back her up. I broke it up into three portions and we moved to the store. When I handed her her meds, she threw them to the floor and the bag burst open. And so we left it. Well, my two bodyguards picked up the meds but it was clear she was not willing to settle down and talk so we left.
Prayer for both of them, that the eyes of their hearts would be opened.
Heavenly Father, Thank You for another gorgeous spring day. You are so gracious to give us such beautiful days.
I lift up Jo for the blessing of a perfect cataract surgery, all smooth going with the expected good results. Thank You for giving her peace going in and peace coming out. Help her to diligently follow aftercare instructions. Thank You that family will be there to help if she needs anything after surgery. Bless her with many years of good eyesight and reading glasses if needed.
Lord, please help Mumsee and family to make the best of salvaging what can be salvaged from broken lives and relationships. We all know Jesus is the answer, but, humanly, we can’t see what You are doing behind the scenes to work things out for good for Mumsee and hubby who were called by You to take these situations on to try and make lives better according to Your ways. Please make a way of escape from verbal abuse, if possible, for Mumsee, even if it means Your sealing the mouth of the spouter. I know there is great power in the blood of Jesus so I plead the blood of Jesus over the ones Mumsee is mentioning. Please, Lord, open up the doors to miracles of healings and repair of their inner beings that are so damaged and warped. Please bring salvations and transformed lives. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen
