We were indeed, mumsee. We got home a few hours ago. Lots of laundry. Tomorrow we will get mail and the newspaper we had on hold. I thought the temperature must be -20 with the wind. It is low 20’s. How we enjoyed the lovely weather we had for most days and a couple of days in the 70’s.
:) The blessings of having 3 daughters who do love to do things together. The blessings of being able to see all the grandchildren except the two oldest. It is one of those who we haven’t seen for 6 years now. He was less than two hours away, but it didn’t work out. :(
:) It is amazing two families had spring break at the same time. It was amazing the others were able to work out being there on certain days. It was great we could stay a couple of days at my daughter’s, too.
:) We had 8 children from ages 6-20 to visit places and it all worked out.
:( Speaking of weather, we had a tornado warning while at the Ark. We were in the restaurant, and I was almost done with my meal, when the alert went off on everyone’s phones. We had to all head down to the basement storage area, leaving our meals behind. It was a short time down there. Water was handed out to anyone who needed it. I had a nice chat with a man from Huntsville, Alabama.
:) The entire vacation was filled with wonderful, polite people wherever we went.
