  1. Biden, the Putin wannabe.

    “Before the unwarranted abduction pending a June 13 sentencing hearing in the DC federal court, Samsel had been repeatedly tortured. In multiple interviews with TGP, he described getting assaulted by guards during enhanced interrogation by the DOJ in conjunction with the Bureau of Prisons. The injuries he sustained from the beatdowns left him disfigured and brain-injured.

    The blood thinners he was prescribed 3 months ago by medics in the DC jail, instead of surgery to remove the aching suspected blood clots, could cause him to bleed out if wounded again and take his life.In December, this reporter was alerted by J6ers housed with Samsel in the hole of the basement of the Washington DC Correctional Treatment Facility that Samsel was screaming in pain in the middle of the night begging the guards to take him to the doctor.

    “We need your help!” Zachary Alam told TGP on a call from the jail. “Ryan can’t walk, and the COs won’t give him medical. He’s been yelling for help all night and they’re just ignoring him.”

  2. Reality is a cruel mistress.

    The brief experiment with drug decriminalization in Dem run Portland is over.

  5. Hey, people of earthenware, how are all-a youse? Wanted to chime in on this….

    From yesterday, I’m thinking it was AJ?:

    Now some NTers may not hate him, but there is no rationalizing with them either. They also know Biden is trashing America, yet they refuse to vote for the only viable alternative to stop it.

    That’s reality. You can be part of the solution, or part of the problem. NTers of both parties have clearly made their choice

    I think the opposite is true, although I don’t usually have the chutzpah to say it out loud. But it was good to see dj’s later reference to Ps. 20.

    God determines election outcomes and their consequences. Like, it’s NO PROBLEM for Him to do that.

  6. This is well worth reading for those on either side of the issue.

    “The Zionist case for a ceasefire.”

    ~~~ “I am a Zionist, and I believe there should be an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
    There should be a ceasefire not just to alleviate the humanitarian disaster Palestinians are experiencing, but to create a safer present and future for Israelis and the global Jewry, too. And I think it’s worth making the case for a ceasefire on both of those grounds — not one or the other.” ~~~
  7. I’ve started going through a 1 Peter study via Ligonier w/Sinclair Ferguson, which seems pertinent to our cultural and political times. From some of my notes on the first session:
    Believers are in some ways living in a very similar culture as the scattered and discouraged church Peter addresses — a time in which persecution was on the horizon (and already was beginning) via the totalitarianism of Rome.
    We find ourselves now in the midst of a culture where christendom is weak, appears even perhaps close to collapsing around us at times, where there is a hatred of God.
    So what is it to live the gospel when Christians are not a majority? Amid trials do we put our heads in the sand? Or worse, complain?
    Or do we live in the exhilaration of the New Testament teachings (following Peter’s example) which is so profoundly relevant? (always and everywhere)
    We are far from the first generation to face such a world. And we won’t (likely) be the last.
    Do we lament and say, “Well, what can you expect?”…
    Or?
