  1. What a beautiful setting pictured above!

Yesterday when my husband’s jam group played at a memory residence, they did Happy Birthday for a 96 yr. old. Her granddaughter lives in AZ and knows the woman in the group. She asked her to sing the birthday song for her grandmother and get a picture of her. The woman’s mother had taken her mother to lunch, since they knew nothing about it. Fortunately, they returned in time to get the song in. Turns out a couple of the woman’s grown children live in our area, so there were other connections. The woman had just moved into this place in November, and she was happily surprised. She remembered the group playing in the apartment building she lived in before coming to this residence. It was quite fun for the group to do. Blessings all around!

  2. Beautiful tree in the header!

Prayers for Nana. Who left that comment?

That sounds like a great time and celebration, Kathaleena. Thankful things like that can go as planned! Truly wonderful.

I have been looking online about sprouted bread. Thinking of trying it.

  4. I read that “wind, of course” sentence twice, mumsee. 🙂

I guess Christmas really is coming, isn’t it?

Looking forward to a break this weekend from what’s been a busy work week. Today should be easier than yesterday was, though, thankfully.

  5. It was me, Kim, first thing. Everything is stable. She had an episode. There is a brain bleed but she passed the stroke test. They will be doing another scan this afternoon. It has affected her speech and her vision. Both are getting better. She can talk but the wrong words come out.

  6. Thanks for allowing us to pray, Kim. Hard times.

Enjoyed watching my granddaughter in the Nutcracker. She loves to act so the party scene was really fun for her. I made it home safely.

  7. Alien ice! I have heard it snap, crackle, pop, and whistle before😀

The new scam here, and maybe where you are, involves calling people who have posted their number on missing pet signs. The caller speaks with authority saying they are Animal Control, and that the pet was injured, and the owner must pay for medical expenses before gerting their pet back..
That is so low. Such opportunists, always taking advantage when they see someone in trouble.

  8. The comics are pretty hard-hitting today. But that’s where we are. The first is about the reindeer not allowing Rudolf to join in their games. Then it is suggested Rudolf just change gender and join in the doe’s games. Clever.

  9. I thought msybe it was Jo asking prayer for someone in PNG. Funny how our minds try to figure out mysteries.

Praying for Nana now. Maybe Mr. P’s Mother? Lord, bless her with good care tonight and peaceful, healing rest. Please guide all who are on her team to know what to do to enhance her remaining time here until the time You have appointed. Please grant peace to Kim and Mr. P, and the rest of the family. I pray for an extension of her life if possible in Your good will. In Jesis’ name, Amen
