It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the nestlings.
Anyone else have something to share?
Psalm 119:97-112
מ Mem
97 Oh, how I love your law!
I meditate on it all day long.
98 Your commands are always with me
and make me wiser than my enemies.
99 I have more insight than all my teachers,
for I meditate on your statutes.
100 I have more understanding than the elders,
for I obey your precepts.
101 I have kept my feet from every evil path
so that I might obey your word.
102 I have not departed from your laws,
for you yourself have taught me.
103 How sweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 I gain understanding from your precepts;
therefore I hate every wrong path.
נ Nun
105 Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path.
106 I have taken an oath and confirmed it,
that I will follow your righteous laws.
107 I have suffered much;
preserve my life, Lord, according to your word.
108 Accept, Lord, the willing praise of my mouth,
and teach me your laws.
109 Though I constantly take my life in my hands,
I will not forget your law.
110 The wicked have set a snare for me,
but I have not strayed from your precepts.
111 Your statutes are my heritage forever;
they are the joy of my heart.
112 My heart is set on keeping your decrees
to the very end.
Prayer for court.

Praise and request! My dear friend’s oldest daughter has accepted Christ! She is very rough around the edges and needs to be connected to strong believers that will come alongside her as she learns to walk with God. Please pray that people will respond to God’s nudge to reach out.

Kizzie, may the above be an extra encouragement to you that God does answer a mother’s prayer for her girls. Even after a very long time.

That is wonderful news and angels are singing! Such an encouragement to, indeed, keep praying for however long it takes!

Nightingale had been out this afternoon, to her college class and then to see Boy. A little after 6:00, Boy burst in and surprised me! (I screamed, because he scared me! 😀 )
Nightingale knew that he was being discharged today, but didn’t tell me so that it would be a surprise. It sure was!
Please pray that Boy will hold on to whatever progress he made there, and that he will cooperate with his mom about going to school, even if he doesn’t want to. And please pray for Nightingale. She is worried about how next week is going to go with him starting back at school.

Is there a particular reason he hates going to school so much? It makes me sad to think of it.

Kathaleena – He already hated middle school, but then had a lot of make-up work after he was out for several days due to a cold-with-fever followed by the concussion he had. That pushed him over the edge. But through this crisis, we have finally gotten the diagnosis of “high functioning autism”, which we have suspected for years.
As the psychiatrist said, “He was high-functioning enough that he could pull it off until he couldn’t anymore.”
He will also be going back to that after-school program that I had mentioned the last time he was hospitalized.
