    CONTENT WARNING!!!!!!

I will not post videos of the atrocities being committed on women, children, and the elderly by these terrorists in Hamas, but I will provide links that do, so use your discretion.

“NEW: Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu tells Gaza residents to “GET OUT NOW” as he vows to use all IDF capabilities to destroy Hamas.

“We will win this war, but the price will be unbearably heavy. Hamas wants to murder us all,” Netanyahu said.

“Murdering children and mothers in their homes, in their beds. It is an enemy that kidnaps elderly people, children, young girls.”

“What happened today has never been seen before in Israel and I will ensure it never happens again. The entire government supports this decision. The IDF will immediately use all its power to destroy Hamas’s capabilities.”

“We will fight them to the bitter end and avenge this black day they plotted for Israel and its people.””

“It will turn your stomach, but don’t turn away.

These are the accounts of what happened to the young Israelis attacked by Hamas at a music festival.

“Women have been raped at the area of the rave next to their friends bodies, dead bodies. Several of these rape victims appear to have been later executed.

Others were taken to Gaza. In photographs released online, you can see several paraded through the city’s streets, blood gushing from between their legs.”

“🔥🚨DEVELOPING: On August 17, 2023 President Trump criticized Joe Biden for giving Iran $6 billion dollars and said that this deal was:

‘Extremely deadly’ and that the payment ‘would be immediately used to start violence, bloodshed and mayhem throughout the Middle East and all around the world,

he continued to say that ‘Iran would use this money on for their nuclear weapons deal program which would put Israel, the United States and the whole world in very grave peril’

Costing countless innocent lives.’ In closing Trump said ‘Biden put a bounty on every American head.’”

  4. Once again VDH lays it out.

“Israel, Our White-House Absurdities, and the Left’s Empire of Lies

The Biden administration is furiously trying to contextualize its past, unsupportable policies that have sown global chaos, especially in the Middle East. But the more it spins, the clearer its culpability.
Does it really believe that the long-agreed-upon U.S. green-lighting of $6 billion in sanctions relief to Iran has had no role in Iran’s terrorist support of Hamas, whether psychological or material or both? Do they think we are that stupid?

Even a first-grader might surmise that if a terrorist state knows that an impending $6-billion bonanza will shortly arrive in its coffers, then it will more readily in the here and now send arms to Hamas—on the logical assumption that those costs soon will be more than covered, while making the additional assumption that the United States is complicit in its own fungible use of sanctions relief cash, and thus not innately hostile to Tehran’s self-professed agenda. In short, Tony Blinken is either a naif, a fool, or to use his words “misinforming”.

These administration’s megaphones who deny such fungibility always end up mouthing the same arguments as the lying and murderous theocracy in Tehran.

But then why not—given the Biden-appointed Robert Malley, previously known as Obama’s ISIS advisor (and we remember how that worked out in Iraq), and a self-declared expert on Hamas rapprochement, eagerly accepted the offer to restart the disastrous Iran deal and normalize Iranian-American relations?

And Malley was indeed eagerly at work—until he was stripped of his security clearance for his alleged unlawful dissemination of classified documents, and in addition fell under further scrutiny allegedly for treasonous efforts to insert pro-Iranian activists into the State Department.

What also was behind the initial, natural instincts of the State Department’s “U.S. Office of Palestinian Affairs”? On news of the attacks, our State department in Pavlovian fashion immediately posted: “We urged all sides to refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks. Terror and violence solve nothing.”

Yes, as lots of us predicted, that insane virtue signal would eventually be taken down—but only in response to Americans outraged at its amoral inanity.

Was our government’s first inclination to stop Israel’s counter-responses to systematic Hamas murdering? Should Israelis accept another 800, 1,000, or 2,000 dead women and children in the interest of abiding by the instruction of the American “Office of Palestinian Affairs” to avoid “retaliatory attacks”?

For that matter, does the Biden administration admonish Ukraine to refrain from “retaliatory attacks”—since, in its logic, responding to Putin’s “terror” with Ukrainian counter “violence” would “solve nothing”?

Or is it just Israel, a democratic ally, that deserves these sermons?

Or do they not reflect the embarrassing reality that there is a core Democratic base—the toxic Squad, AOC’s Democratic Socialists, the fusion media, and some of the identity politics caucuses—who are Hamas apologists, even if that bankrupt ideology descends into ignoring or condoning the abject slaughter of civilians in their homes?

And are we really to believe, as told, that resumption of hundreds of millions dollars in aid to the Palestinians was also not fungible and used to aid the current murderous agendas of Hamas?

But do not just believe supporters of Israel about that reality.

Instead, read what dissidents in the State Department themselves warned at the time of the dangers of Biden’s resumption of aid to the radical Palestinians: “We assess there is a high risk Hamas could potentially derive indirect, unintentional benefit from U.S. assistance to Gaza. There is less but still some risk U.S. assistance would benefit other designated groups.”

The administration is, of course, back peddling furiously, given its prior appeasement of Iran and Hamas, if not an outright tilt against Israel—again policies that reflected the embarrassing core constituency of the Democratic Party.

Americans should not listen to what Biden’s team now conveniently says, but instead to what it actually does in the upcoming weeks when it is under fire by its base in the new woke Democratic Party, as the Israelis have to go into Gaza, end this toxic death machine, and confront the Hamas global propaganda machine.

A hard rain is soon going to fall abroad.

And the United States better get its house in order, whether defined as standing with its few dependable allies left, securing its own oil and gas supplies, protecting its borders, un-woking and rebooting its suspect military, recalibrating its all too often incompetent and politicized intelligence bureaus—and thus preparing for a world turned upside down.”

“Here we are 78 years after the end of the Holocaust and once agains thuggish killers dressed in black are pulling Jewish elderly, women, and children out of their homes and executing them, and then throwing their bodies into the street. But in 1945 we were fighting the SS murderers, now we are sending millions in subsidies to their modern Hamas killer squad counterparts. We the American people should demand not one more American cent to these Gestapo and SS killers.”

    https://nypost.com/2023/10/08/failed-foreign-policy-gave-terror-the-element-of-surprise-agencies-blinded-by-joes-fiascos/

“The weekend’s depraved attack by Iran-sponsored Hamas terrorists on Israel reportedly blindsided US and Israeli intelligence. How could that be?

Any postmortem on what went wrong has to include:

The Biden administration’s preoccupation with its diabolical Iran nuclear deal, the so-called Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action launched by the Obama administration, scrapped by Trump’s, and reanimated by President Biden and his Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

The recent bust of an Iranian spy ring said to reach into the highest levels of the State Department and the Pentagon.

The crackdown on anti-Iranian dissident group MEK in Albania in June.
    1. APPEASEMENT: The same Biden-Blinken brain trust responsible for the debacle in Afghanistan has done nothing but appease the terrorist regime in Tehran since day one.

They just released an additional $6 billion to Iran, have eased off on sanctions enforcement, pumped hundreds of millions of dollars into Gaza and betrayed Iranian dissidents, all to curry favor with Tehran.

There are inadvertent favors, too, like the US weapons left behind in Afghanistan that found their way to Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip, according to a Newsweek report in June.

Biden also has struggled to hide his disdain for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whose government he has called “extremist.”

Administration flacks insisted over the weekend that the $6 billion returned to Iran was only to be used for “humanitarian purposes and medicine” and was strictly monitored. Sure.

That’s not what Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi told NBC’s Lester Holt last month.

“This money belongs to the Islamic Republic of Iran,” said Raisi, “and naturally we will decide to spend it wherever we need it.”

Every dollar of the $6 billion Iran spends domestically on “medicine” frees another dollar to give to terrorist proxies like Hamas.

    2. SPY RING: The Biden administration’s hand-picked, virulently anti-Israel Iran envoy Robert Malley was quietly removed without pay in June and had his security clearance suspended pending an investigation by the FBI for security breaches.

The State Department has been tight-lipped about the scandal, but Lee Smith wrote in Tablet last week that Malley allegedly had helped “fund, support, and direct an Iranian intelligence operation designed to influence the United States and allied governments” and helped to infiltrate an Iranian agent of influence “into some of the most sensitive positions in the US government — first at the State Department and now the Pentagon.”

The reporting is based on thousands of emails between Iranian diplomats and analysts obtained by Iran International, a London-based émigré opposition media outlet, and shared with Semafor.

Malley previously was the Obama administration’s top negotiator on the initial 2015 nuclear deal with Iran. One of Biden’s first actions upon becoming president was to name Malley as his special envoy for Iran.

What effect did Malley’s alleged activities on behalf of Iran have on US intelligence capabilities going into Saturday’s attack on Israel?

    3. MEK RAID: On June 20, the Albanian government raided the headquarters of the Mujahedeen-e-Khalq or MEK, the exiled Iranian opposition group that previously had been resettled in Albania from Iraq under the protection of the United States government.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former Vice President Mike Pence were among the MEK’s most high-profile supporters in the Trump administration.

But it seems that US protection was withdrawn last November, when the State Department declared that “the United States does not see the MEK as a viable democratic opposition movement that is representative of the Iranian people.”

Malley was quickly fingered as being behind the about-face by a bipartisan group of 23 high-profile former US lawmakers, and pro-Israel intellectuals, including former Attorney General Michael Mukasey, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Sen. Joe Lieberman and Professor Alan Dershowitz, who issued a statement denouncing the State Department’s disavowal of the MEK.

They criticized Malley for what they described as a “flagrant betrayal” of the Iranian people:

“Desperate to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), US Envoy Robert Malley has sought to appease the Iranian government by publicly discrediting one of the regime’s primary opposition groups. … What further acts of appeasement does Mr. Malley intend to offer to get his Iranian counterparts back to the negotiating table?”

    Good question.”

  13. “Cheerleaders for Hamas

The woke left’s response to the Islamist assault on Israel has exploded their phoney moral superiority for good.”

    https://www.spiked-online.com/2023/10/08/cheerleaders-for-hamas/

“First, the horror. No sooner had Hamas rolled into Israel on Saturday, murdering and kidnapping those they came across, than images of their depraved exploits were plastered across social media. Innocent people executed on the streets. A pensioner kidnapped and driven into Gaza on a golf buggy. A young woman’s lifeless body, stripped almost naked, paraded on the back of a pick-up truck as men spat on her and chanted ‘Allahu Akbar’. Ordinary people slaughtered and taken for no other crime than being Israeli, than being Jewish. Then, the sewer. Just as social media had confronted us with such unspeakable evil, it then confronted us with those in the West who looked upon these barbaric, blood-thirsty scenes – from the comfort of safe homes 2,000 miles away – and thought to themselves: Good.

We have become accustomed to Hamas apologism from the woke left. They have long responded to the atrocities of this Islamist outfit with a knowing ‘What do you expect?’. Their delusional, bigoted conviction that Israel is the most evil state on Earth, that unlike every other nation under attack it has no right to exist or defend itself, has time and again led them to make excuses for Hamas’ genocidal lunatics – whose founding charter committed them to ‘struggle against the Jews’ and whose leading lights call on Palestinians to ‘cut off the heads of the Jews with knives’. There was plenty of that apologism yesterday. ‘Reap what you sow’, tweeted Jackie Walker, former vice-chair of Momentum, who was expelled from the Labour Party in 2019. But that soon began to look tame by comparison. Apologism gave way to cheerleading. ‘Today should be a day of celebration for supporters of democracy and human rights worldwide’, tweeted Novara Media’s Rivkah Brown, ‘as Gazans break out of their open-air prison and Hamas fighters cross into their colonisers’ territory. The struggle for freedom is rarely bloodless and we shouldn’t apologise for it.’ Yes, Hamas, those theocratic thugs, anti-Semitic killers, oppressors of women and gay people, are apparently champions of freedom and democracy. To call this deranged is too generous. This is psychopathic. But the brain rot wasn’t confined to Brown. ‘All eyes on Palestine in its heroic moment of resistance against the Zionist occupation’, tweeted Pawel Wargan, coordinator of the secretariat of Progressive International. (Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell sit on its council.) Disgraced ex-Labour MP Chris Williamson called Hamas ‘freedom fighters’.

It was shocking, but wholly unsurprising. That the Labour left has lost the plot on the Israel-Palestine conflict is a profound understatement. Corbyn’s Labour flushed out so many examples of alleged left-wingers making excuses for Hamas, or indulging Islamist anti-Semites, that we almost became numb to it all. Indeed, that a man who once referred to Hamas as his ‘friends’; who once invited Raed Salah, a man convicted for repeating the blood libel, to have tea in the House of Commons; who once gave a speech at a demonstration, yards away from an inflatable effigy of an anti-Semitic caricature – complete with horns, hooked nose and claws – is still considered the cuddly, grandfatherly standard-bearer of the left shows how morally and politically bankrupt the left now is. That more of his fellow travellers have gone from making excuses for Hamas to openly cheering it on was perhaps inevitable.

This is not about supporting Palestine. If it were, these people might have more to say about how Hamas, as Daniel Ben-Ami has argued on spiked, has turned a national-liberation movement into a genocidal jihad against Israel. If it were, they might spare a thought or a tweet for the innocent Palestinians who will inevitably pay the price for Hamas’ vicious act of war. No, this is about despising Israel, which has become a perverse source of identity and pride for woke leftists. That they hold this troubled liberal democracy, and the world’s only Jewish State, to a standard they do not apply to any other state the world over – including brutal, theocratic regimes – is more than bizarre. It’s bigoted.

Now, they offer only stony silence to British Jews who are justifiably worried that a carnival of Jew hatred might spill out on to our own streets. Last night, in west London, people were filmed waving Palestine flags and honking horns, celebrating Hamas’ blood-stained incursion into southern Israel. It was a stomach-turning reminder of the men who were spotted driving around heavily Jewish parts of north-west London in 2021, honking horns, flying Palestine flags and shouting from loud hailers: ‘@#$% the Jews… @#$% their mothers… Rape their daughters.’ Today’s ‘anti-racist’ left – who on another day would happily cancel you over a ‘microaggression’ – stared at its shoe laces back then. There were no demonstrations or solidarity marches, facing down the newest expression of the world’s oldest hatred. Whatever tenuous claim the woke left still had to the moral high ground is now – surely – dust. These cheerleaders for Hamas have finally seen to that.”

“Israel to cut power, food to Gaza”

    https://hotair.com/jazz-shaw/2023/10/09/israel-to-cut-power-food-to-gaza-n583263

“Israel is pulling out all the stops in its response to this weekend’s Hamas terror attacks. The IDF has announced that it is cutting off all power, food, and water to the Gaza strip. The results of this action will be immediate because Gaza relies almost exclusively on Israel for all of its supplies and infrastructure. Travel restrictions will prevent Palestinians from crossing the border into Israel for work. It’s possible that Palestine could seek an agreement with Egypt to replace those resources, but it’s unclear whether or not the Egyptian government would be willing to risk the wrath of the West by aiding the terrorists. This will be seen by pro-Palestinian sympathizers as some sort of cruel and unusual punishment, but Israel should feel no obligation to provide such services to the monsters that have opened a war against them. (Associated Press)

Israel vowed to lay total siege to the Gaza Strip on Monday, as its military scoured the country’s south for militants, guarded breaches in its border fence and pounded the impoverished, Hamas-ruled territory in the wake of an unprecedented weekend incursion…

In an effort to further ratchet up the pressure on Hamas, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant ordered a “complete siege” of Gaza, saying authorities would cut electricity and prevent food and fuel from entering the territory. He said Israel was at war with “human animals,” using the kind of dehumanizing language often heard on both sides at times of soaring tensions.

Israel and Egypt have imposed various levels of blockade on Gaza since Hamas seized power, but in recent years Israel had provided limited electricity and allowed the import of food, fuel and consumer goods, while heavily restricting travel in and out.

At the same time as the siege began, the Israeli Air Force began pummeling Gaza City and other known Hamas headquarters and facilities. Smoke could be seen rising over the city and fires were breaking out in various places. Reporters near the border repeatedly saw Israeli fighter jets passing over and missiles continue to rain down on the terrorists’ homeland. (NY Post)

The Israeli Air Force has begun striking targets throughout the Gaza Strip following a massive barrage of rockets fired into Israel by Hamas terrorists on Monday.

“The Air Force is now launching an extensive attack on many centers of the terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip,” the branch wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

“Even at this time, the Air Force continues to attack dozens of targets of the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip,” the air force posted minutes later.

We’re already hearing protests from pro-Palestinians in America over the decision to shut off Gaza’s electricity and food supplies. The defenders of Hamas claim that the Palestinians “had no choice” because they are “occupied.” What many people don’t realize is that the people living in the Gaza strip don’t have any resources of their own because Hamas provides them with virtually nothing. Hamas is a terrorist organization and offers few if any governmental services. Israel hasn’t “occupied” the Gaza strip for nearly twenty years, and they voluntarily provide basic necessities to the people of the Gaza strip. If Hamas was doing anything to provide for the people of Gaza, Israel wouldn’t have this sort of leverage over them.

Are there “normal” Palestinians who do not participate in terror attacks? Probably. But as far as Israel is concerned, we are probably reaching the point of adopting the adage of Cistercian abbot Arnaud Amalric who essentially said, ‘kill them all and let God sort them out.’ I’m aware of how harsh that sounds, but Israel is quickly running out of options and its enemies are growing more bold. If the non-terrorist Palestinians truly want peace and security, they have a solution available to them. Rise up and oust or kill all of the leaders of Hamas, cut all of their ties to Iran, and form a new government that is willing to live and work in peace with the Israelis.”

    —-

But don’t hold your breath. This has always been an option, one the Palestinians refuse to use.

CNN correspondent Nic Robertson reminded audiences of the mental toll such devastation can take as he choked back tears while reporting on the hostage situation unfolding in Israel and describing an interview with an Israeli official. “I asked him, ‘How are you going [to get] these hostages back?’” Joe DePaolo wrote in a recap of the segment. “Robertson took a moment to gather himself before resuming his report. ‘He told me that they were going to do everything in their power to get them back,’ Robertson said. ‘No one would be left behind, he said. But I think I picked up from him the extreme difficulty that is presented here. Because Hamas won’t give them up. And where they’re scattered, where they’re being held, underground tunnels, bunkers scattered across Gaza, it is an almost impossible task.’” ~

“There are two stories bouncing around re infiltration of US Defense and State Dept by Iran.

    1. Robert Malley was US Envoy to Iran, appointed by Biden, after having been lead negotiator under Obama of Iran Deal. He has been suspended without pay and the FBI now has an open investigation of mishandling classified information — since he only dealt with Iran, it’s not hard to guess what country was involved.

    Hired by Biden.

    2. Ariane Tabatabai, Chief of Staff to Assistant Sec. of Defense for Special Ops Christopher Maier, is a long-time member of the “Iran Experts Initiative” which is a front group consisting of “academics” and others who “assist” the U.S. Govt in dealing with Iran. Email comms between her and various officials in the Iran Govt show that she has been taking directions from Tehran and reporting on matters learned in her capacity in DOD.
Maier’s responsibilities on DOD’s website are described as “all special operations, irregular warfare, counterterrorism, and information operations policy issues and the oversight of special operations peculiar administrative matters, on behalf of the Secretary.”

These are two HUGE stories now given the events of the past 72 hours.

A key feature of the Malley hiring is the fact that he has known Sec. of State Blinken since high school.”

  22. Haven’t been here in awhile. It’s Canadian Thanksgiving; I had time with the family yesterday and now some free time for myself and thought I’d check in here. I read some of the above but don’t have the time or strength to read it all. I should cease to be surprised on how Americans can take a foreign issue and create a domestic thread to it. And how quick some will use anti-Semitism accusations to close any debate on the situation.

In a larger context, Hamas and Israel have been exchanging rocket fire in the Gaza area for decades and it has increased lately. The Hamas incursion is new though. As Israel makes peace with more Arab nations – including Morocco and Saudi Arabia right now; Hamas sees this as a now or never moment. Once the Saudis sign with Israel; Palestine will be abandoned by its Arab allies. The current action is then to force the Arab elites and to create pressure from the Arab street , once pictures of Israeli response are on Arab TV.

The quick blame assigned to Iran and reference to Afghan weapons is suspect. There has been a blockade on the Gaza by Israel and Egypt for at least a decade. Israel and Egypt allow only enough transport and communication to keep the people alive and not create bad PR. Iran may have advised and given permission but its difficult to prove weapons were smuggled into the Gaza. Yes Egyptian border guards are corrupt but even they have been known to limit smuggling to people, money, and consumer goods. Any more would cause too much attention and be bad for bribes. Similarly then I have a hard time with any attempt to tie US policy to Iran as tied to the Hamas attack. Too many connections to have any causation.

The failure by Mossad to detect or have foreknowledge of the attack is also interesting. Apparently, Egyptian intelligence warned them over a week ago and Bibi ignored it because he was focused on the West Bank. It makes sense as Egypt usually acts as the intermediary between Israel and Hamas. Some American far right groups are now claiming the Hamas attack was allowed or is even a false flag to justify an extreme Israeli response (that btw is bizarre)

  23. Americans (and Canadians) tend to be shocked when they see support for Palestinians. However, this isn’t unusual elsewhere. Many leftists in Europe view Israel as a colonial project for western nations to project power in the Middle East. They view the political power of eastern European Jews in Israel (despite being a minority) as proof.

For Arabs in the street – any “victory” over Israel is celebrated. They too view Israel as a colonial project who exploit Palestinians. They then ignore Hamas and other groups’ atrocities. And will point out that many Israeli supporters ignore Israeli atrocities. Reminds me of the Orwell quote; “Everyone believes in the atrocities of the enemy and disbelieves in those of his own side, without ever bothering to examine the evidence.”
