  1. Sad that nobody in authority seems to think it a big deal that a three and four year old know about and practice huffing propane.

Sad that nobody in authority seems to think it a big deal that my daughter serves underage drinkers at the bar, where her three and four year old are pulled up on barstools at the bar.

Glad that twenty two notices, cares, brings it to attention of others.

Glad that twenty two is trying to distance herself from older sister and sis in law.

Glad that God has given us the opportunity to see how pervasive sin is.

Glad that He desires to set us free from its grasp.

  2. Oh, yes, thankful Christ came for us to be set free!

😦 Technology when it isn’t working right. I had to spend another hour trying to get the Wi-Fi on this morning.

🙂 Technology when it is working right. So nice to be able to communicate instantly.

  3. 🙂 Morning coffee.

🙂 Appliances that can be fixed.

😦 The cost to fix big appliances.

🙂 But it’s cheaper than buying a new one.

🙂 The amazing medical advances we now have. I’m taken aback by how good my vision is in the one eye following cataract surgery only a week ago — sure, removing the “moderate” cataract helped, but the new lens they put in corrected so much of my high astigmatism also. What a huge difference THAT makes.

  4. My husband claims he never noticed much of a difference, but his eyes were never really bad. I expect a big difference having worn glasses since third grade and being extremely nearsighted.

  5. Kathaleena, me too – got my first glasses at age 12 but didn’t have to wear them full time until after college (I would, however, wear them as I got older to see blackboards and then to drive at night).

But I’ve also been seriously nearsighted so the difference I’m seeing is quite remarkable.
