  1. The lying from our government officials and the media, in the main, ignoring it is disgusting. Thank God for those who are bold enough to tell the truth when they are able.

  2. Take that Colorado….Polis you are not the King….😊

The Supreme Court issued two more fantastic rulings yesterday. National Review ran the first story headlined, “A Supreme Court Victory for Creators of All Kinds.”

In /303 Creative LLC v. Elenis/, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that a creator of wedding websites can legally refuse to design websites for same-sex couples, finding that website design was an artistic act and the equivalent of protected First Amendment speech.

Plaintiff Lori Smith lives in Colorado, which has a law requiring artists to provide services to anyone and anything regardless of the artist’s personal beliefs. Under Colorado law, if the demon Baphomet himself clumped into the store on his iron-shod hooves, Lori would either have to make the devil a Satanic website or face prosecution by a hostile swarm of insectile bureaucrats and regulators angrily boiling out of a bottomless pit somewhere deep under the Denver airport.

Ominously, Lori had lost at the Circuit Court of Appeals, which came up with the novel idea that, since every artist’s work is unique, Lori actually has a “monopoly” on her own special style of website design, and therefore LGBTQ people have NO OTHER REASONABLE OPTIONS for website design. So, sorry, Lori. Get behind the LGBTQ revolution, or else.

But on appeal, the Supreme Court wasn’t having any of it, and said:

In some sense, of course, [Lori’s] voice is unique; so is everyone’s. But that hardly means a State may coopt an individual’s voice for its own purposes. . . . Were the rule otherwise, the better the artist, the finer the writer, the more unique his talent, the more easily his voice could be conscripted to disseminate the government’s preferred messages. That would not respect the First Amendment; more nearly, it would spell its demise.

Outstanding Justice Gorsuch, who wrote the excellent opinion for the majority, also tellingly quoted George Orwell: “If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.”

Indeed. We can all learn a lesson from that.

The decision naturally extends to cake bakers, wedding planners, and perhaps most importantly, pastors. If you’ve been following the trials and travels of Jack Phillips and Masterpiece Cakeshop in Colorado, well, because of this decision, Jack’s never-ending nightmare is now over.
    Finally!!

  3. Thanking God for these victories. They are not victories in the abstract, but impact a creator’s ability to make a basic living living utilizing his own skills.

  4. The media ignoring things is bad enough. But in many of these cases, they are willing and active participants in the spreading of the lies.

“Joe Biden is a father consumed with his son’s legal problems. That’s troubling news for Americans already worried that the president is not up to doing his job.”

“Biden is running for re-election and his staffers are worried about the optics of Hunter Biden being attached at the hip to his father, given the recent deal announced that will keep him out of prison. And there is the settlement with the mother of his four-year-old daughter that was submitted to the court for approval this week. It brought lots of headlines, too. Deals all over the place for Hunter Biden, a very special human being, apparently. Any other American would be serving time for what he’s been found guilty of – especially on the charge of lying on a federal form to purchase a gun.

Naturally, when Hunter and his wife showed up for the state dinner held for Indian Prime Minister Modi, so quickly after the plea deal in Delaware was announced, the wisdom of that invitation was called into question. Should Hunter be so conspicuous at his father’s White House events? Under normal circumstances, no. The disgraced criminal child of a sitting president would be kept out of sight from the public. But, this is Hunter Biden and we are being told that his daddy is keeping him close to him because Joe is afraid Hunter will relapse and go back to using drugs.

And, off Hunter went to Camp David last weekend with Joe. No doubt he’ll go again when Joe leaves the White House for Camp David this afternoon for the holiday weekend.

It’s all making sense now. Joe thinks he can keep his troubled son off drugs if he keeps him nearby. That’s not how addiction works but it may be what Joe Biden thinks. Joe Biden looks like he isn’t doing too well in taking care of himself so I don’t know how much good he’s doing for Hunter but he’s keeping him busy. Do you wonder if Hunter was making deals during that state dinner by using his father’s position, as he has done in the past? I did.”

Or Joe knows this all compromises him too, so he keeps Hunter close to keep him quiet.

“The federal government is working against Texas DPS to secure the border”

    https://hotair.com/karen-townsend/2023/07/01/watch-the-federal-government-is-working-against-texas-dps-to-secure-the-border-n561943

“A video popped up Friday on Twitter that alleged to show Border Patrol cutting the razor wire that has been put along the border by Texas DPS and allowing illegal immigrants to cross further into Texas. Hmm. That hasn’t been seen before.

As usual, it was reported by FOX’s Bill Melugin, the only reporter who has consistently covered the Biden border crisis since its beginning. He received the video from a source in Eagle Pass, Texas. He was able to get a statement from CBP explaining the situation.”

““Intifada in Heart of France” – Mobs Torch Cities, Desecrate Holocaust and WWII Memorial

SkyNews UK: “Burning car used in ram-raid attack on mayor’s home in ‘assassination attempt’.”

“Rioters in France clashed with police and set homes and businesses on fire as the country endured a fifth night of terror. “Some 2,400 people have been arrested after five nights of violent protests throughout the country,” the Sky News UK reported Sunday. “People have taken to the streets over consecutive nights to protest, setting cars alight, throwing stones and fireworks, and ransacking shops.”

President Emmanuel Macron’s government deployed thousands more police and fire fighters after failing to put an end to the mass-violence which began following Thursday’s police shooting outside Paris that killed a 17-year-old boy of Algerian descent. The police say the shots were fired in self-defense. “The government deployed 45,000 police to city streets across the nation to head off a fifth night of violence,” the France-based broadcaster Euronews confirmed.”
